Appalling service

Disappointing service. Paid for next day delivery and despite meeting all the criteria, the item was not despatched in time. ASICS customer experience phone lines were down so I could not get hold of anyone to chase, and an email sent was eventually replied to ten days later. Having to return the item as I'd had to make other arrangements was also not straightforward. I was assured over the phone when I called in to discuss the late delivery that the next day postage would be refunded as it was clearly ASICS fault I had been inconvenienced, but that wasn't the case, so I'm now back to chasing for my money. I held on the phone today for in excess of an hour only to get cut off as the lines were now down once again as other reviewers are experiencing. Poor experience. ASICS reviews told me this review didn’t pass their guidelines. Thankfully it does for Trustpilot, wish I had come here before purchasing directly.

No customer support

- incorrect shoes posted out (these things happen, no big deal)
- contacted ASICS support on 16th September (no response by 22nd September)
- I have tried calling customer service. Voicemail said the service was unavailable despite the call being made during advertised opening hours
- AI chat support acknowledges a problem but closes the conversation without suggesting solutions
I still have the incorrect shoes but am unable to return until I know a replacement will be made available

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service!
I ordered a pair of ASICS trainers. Two weeks later I hadn’t received my order but received notification my order had been cancelled due to billing. No further explanation or details given. I contacted ASICS again to find out why. No response for another week then I get email saying exactly the same thing, no real explanation.
I gave ASICS a review on their website with my experience they would not publish it as it went against their guidelines.
ASICS have very poor customer service, do not want to resolve any issue you have with orders.
Do not buy direct from ASICS I suggest go to other online retailer.

I made an order with two of their latest fast running shoes, got delivered to the appointed click and collect location after two days as specified. Excellent quality and fantastic ONE ASICS programme.

Any issues, just use their contact form at the bottom of the website regarding payment or other sorts. They will get back to you within 48 hours.

AMAZING! Just called ASICS to see which wide fitting tennis shoes are suitable They said UK ASICS don’t cater for the wide footed client I thought it was candid camera for a while!

Poor quality

I was very happy with my shoes ordered 3 pair from same kind because was comfortable.
Suddenly i just noticed on the top my shoe started to be broken which very very disappointing for the price i paid,and yesterday i noticed on the other shoes the same.
I`m using this shoes for work to walk not even running i it. Never happened this with any cheaper shoes, but to happen with Asics in 2 month maximum use it is very sad.

Great experience

I ordered a pair of metaspeed edge Paris before checking reviews and then panicked seeing all the bad reviews. My experience was great after seeing the reviews I emailed them straight away to check on my order and was replied to straight away. My shoes came on time and they still refunded me the shipping. Shoes are amazing too

Ordered on express delivery which says next business day delivery and the order was delivered after two days, that too they made me wait until late evening. It’s almost impossible to reach their customer support and such a disappointing service. Worst experience ever with a delivery order.

Ordered some trainers express delivery…

Ordered some trainers express delivery and stated it would be next business day which should have been delivered in the 16th of August! Now being told delivery is on 20th! I placed the order on the 14th! Why ask people to pay for a service you can’t provide! Online shopping is meant to be less stressful for the consumer but nothing but stress!

Absolutely shocking service

Absolutely shocking. I really wish I'd read these reviews before I placed my order. Paid £7.95 for next day shipping and here we are a day later and not even shipped. I could have bought from Sports Direct but am not a fan so decided to order direct from Asics having ordered from Adidas and Nike in the past and had brilliant service. What a huge mistake. Customer service is almost non existent. 20 mins to answer the phone then tried to tell me that they should arrive today - even though the order status shows they haven't been shipped! They say its not a problem as they will refund the £7.95 if they don't arrive today, but that's hardly the point is it? And of course they don't even reply to negative reviews. I am honestly staggered that such a well known company selling such expensive products can be this bad. What a shower of you know what. AVOID please................

Awful customer service who are non…

Awful customer service who are non English speaking.
Won't let you speak to a manager.
They use Yodel courier who delays my parcels and doesn't deliver even though I've paid £7.95 for next day delivery, after 3 days I have to go to the Yodel depot to get shoes.
I've now sent back Metaspeed Sky shoes that cost £220 as they won't change courier.
We have now signed up with Nike who deliver next day with DPD guaranteed.

I have been a long-time Asics customer…

I have been a long-time Asics customer - in fact over 40 years.

I was disappointed to find out that after around 100km of running (around the dirt running track in my local park ) in a pair of their trail running shoes (Sonoma 6 GTX), it had developed a tear in one of the toe box.

So naturally I contacted Asics. to my surprise they said they cant replace the item because how the shoes wear depends on how one runs.

Now I own seven pairs of other ASICS running shoes and walking shoes. Had it been my running style that had caused the premature wear, the same would have happened to my other ASICS shoes as well. None of the other shoes have this type of wear.

So clearly, if it wasn't my running style that caused the tear, then it must be that there was some sort of manufacturing/design fault with the shoes.

I tried to reason this with them but they just flatly refused to agree on a replacement.

In fact, this wasn't the first pair that developed a similar fault - the previous pair I had was the Sonoma 5 GTX and a similar fault developed near wear the toe cap is sawn onto the upper.

I have been wearing their trainers since I was a toddler and then through out my track and field club days but I guess enough is enough. The quality of their products have been getting poorer and poorer while the prices are getting higher.

It is just totally not acceptable that a trainer that retails at RRP of around £100 falls apart after 100km / 10 runs or so of use and the manufacturer does not owe up to the defects.

I will move onto other brands such as Saucony / Inov-8 when I need to replace my six or so pairs of regular running shoes.

My personnel adice to all don't buy Asics shoes. I suffered lot after bought this company shoes. Buy local shoes but don't go for Asics. I paid Rs.16k for Asics shoes & Rs.20k for ortho doctor after bought this shoes. One of worst shoes i saw in my life.

Asics Quantum 7

Asics Quantum 7. I have previously owned many asics trainers ans never experienced any issues. The quantum 7 are comfortable and they look nice, however asics seem to have raken a step back in quality, this goes in line with others have already reported. After 3 months of use I started to notice the lining was getting thinner in some areas. Two weeks later a puncture appeared, then another and another... the soles are still nearly new whilst the top of the trainer is falling apart. I took them back to the shop and their investigation concluded that the damage was due to abbrassion, which was not true.

All and all extremely poor quality product for the price paid one should expect much more.

Dont Buy Kayano 30's!!!!

I purchased a pair of Gel Kayano 30 shoes because they are my go-to for training runs due to their durability and suitability for my running style. However, after around 400 miles of running, both shoes have developed holes and are now unwearable. This is something that has not happened in over 10 years of buying this series of shoes! They are normally very durable and go the distance; however, this new design seems to have a massive fault with the toebox and is not fit for purpose, especially considering the £180 price tag. I contacted Customer Services and was essentially told to go back to the shop where I purchased them for resolution. However, I believe that as they manufacture the shoes, they should resolve the issue. I have suggested that I’m happy for them to replace the shoes, but they have shown zero interest in looking after their repeat customers. It looks like I’m going to shop around and see what other manufacturers have to offer, as it seems Asics has lost its way with this shoe and how to look after its customers.

Absolutely awful customer service and…

Absolutely awful customer service and refund procedures. I shipped my return order on 15th June, and on 19th June it arrived at ASICS, but still no money back or notifications. Customer service ignores emails to the website, so it is better to call them directly, they told me it takes up to 20 business days to process the return order + 3-5 days for the payment. It's a joke for such a company to have such delays. Don't waste your time and energy and order from other brands. For reference, my order number: ASCGB35959345

Disappointed with Asics Shoes Quality and Customer Service

I recently purchased a pair of Asics Us5-s Gel-quantum Kinetic feat Kiko Kostadinov Studio shoes from a retailer Spectrum Store, and unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. Here’s a detailed account of what happened:

Quality Issues:
After just six days of regular walking, the shoes developed noticeable tears. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the sharp edges of the laces were rubbing against the fabric, causing the damage. This is not what I expected from a brand known for durability and performance.

Worsening Condition:
Despite minimal additional use, the damage has significantly worsened. The shoes are now unfit for use, as the tears have expanded and the structural integrity is compromised.

Customer Service Frustrations:
I contacted the shop (Spectrum Store) where I bought the shoes, but they dismissed my concern as normal wear and tear. They have not responded to my follow-up attempts, leaving me without a resolution.

Asics' Response:
I then reached out to Asics directly. Initially, they concluded the issue was cosmetic and offered me a 20% voucher as compensation. I informed them that the damage had worsened and requested a replacement or refund, but they insisted the shoes were not defective and directed me back to the retailer. I have asked Asics for an official confirmation of the defect to assist with my communication with Spectrum Store, but I am still awaiting a satisfactory resolution.

Conclusion:
I am extremely disappointed with both the quality of the Aspics shoes and the lack of effective customer service from both Spectrum Store and Asics. This experience has been time-consuming and frustrating, and it has significantly diminished my trust in the brand.

I hope Asics and Spectrum Store will take this feedback seriously and improve their product quality and customer service practices. Until then, I would advise potential customers to be cautious when purchasing Asics shoes.
