Wanting to ship a valuable statue…

Wanting to ship a valuable statue across the U,S., I thought I could find step-to-step instructions to safely send this. As I was waiting for an answer, I thought I will take the statue to Postal Annex and ask them and I could get it sent from there without any questions and answers flying around on the Internet - so I disconnected myself from Ask.com and found a bill for $70 on my bank account for NOTHING - I never connected with anyone at Ask.com.

Ask.com charges - unauthorized

We called Ask.com once (should not have done it) for some information. We did not get any useful information. But then they have been charging us $48.00 every month. Took us a few months to catch this. Now they say they will not charge us anymore. How about the charges that were levied earlier? Total SCAM. Do not use their services. Not worth it.

I am a new to ASK but won’t be going back. I was enticed by the free garlic bread for members and free kids meal in school half term. Dining in Oxford today we were “looked after” by the grumpiest waitress I have met. She refused our table free garlic bread because there was a child eating free. REALLY!? She clearly had personal issues to resolve as was even grumpy when we asked for the right number of napkins and cutlery. Back to Pizza Express for us

Visited the Durham branch and wished we hadn't. The food was barely edible and obviously re-heated before serving. Left and spent the remainder of the night feeling quite poorly with very upset stomach. £45 wasted. WON'T be going there again

This site is a scam

This site is a scam. They charge 65.00 with no way to have a conversation with someone about reversing it. They trick you into a membership with a $5.00 trial, but in my case neglected to let me know that I once asked a question many years ago, invalidating that trial option. They have been reporterd to the BBB, many times

Had the worst Caesar salad in years

Had the worst Caesar salad in years, the chicken was fine and nicely cooked but it rested on just a mass of large lettuce leaves with soggy croutons VEGAN cheese (I asked the waiter if chef didnt understand the concept of veganism) to be told we only serve vegan cheese in all dishes as it makes it easier for us
But not for the client as vegan cheese is pretty tasteless, especially Parmesan, as was the virtually non existent Caesar sauce. Absolutely awful.

This is a fraudulant website

The website advertises that you can join for "$1". What it does not say (in any clear way) is that immediately after you pay $1.. you are ALSO obliged to pay a $55 per month membership fee.

I contacted the company less than 1 hour after trying the service (unsuccessfully) and was told that, "my membership was canceled."

This would have been fine except when I checked my bank I found out that I was still being charged $55.

Customer support said it is impossible to cancel the $55 charge, because I agreed to pay it.

(Of course, I was completely unaware of this charge. This is where the fraud comes in.)

Low-level staffers are instructed to not refund any money. The only way to get your money back is to talk to senior management. The revenue collected through this deceptive practice is clearly a substantial portion of their income... Or else they would not do it.

I would give them 0 stars

I would give them 0 stars, I only agree on the $5 ask service but they took $35 from my card. When I try getting a refund for it they reverse my refund saying I agree to $35 when I know I didn't. I even told them and they say it was ok, had to change my credit card just in case they take even more. Never going to ask.com again. 👎😠

DON'T DO IT!

DON'T DO IT!
I did the 7 day trial. I called to cancel within the 7 days. Whoever I was talking to asked me for my info, she said she couldn't verify me and that she would look into it and call me back. I still haven't heard back until I looked at my bank statement and noticed they're charging me $74.00. Oh course they won't give me a refund.
