Expert scheduling were always…
Expert scheduling were always last-minute advise (2-3hrs before client expectations) where usually the supposed advise is atleast 24-48hrs to allow us to prepare the needed data points to present.
Payment is also an area for improvement, other expert platforms such as guidepoint is facilitating payments 7 days after the consultation vs. Atheneum's 30 days (or more).

It used to be good - now stay away
I used to do a lot of expert work for several Atheneum clients from governments and ministries, among others. Then, they punished my 'visibility' as an expert for not sending my sensitive biometric data to the verification provider 'Persona', which is a disputed platform that sends data to several entities. After the leak in February 2026, Discord also distanced themselves from this provider. Then, they deleted my account because I raised this issue. This was really badly handled and was very unprofessional. The situation has worsened over the years, and forcing an EU citizen to use Persona is outrageous, especially since they kicked me out as an expert after I raised this issue. They didn't even offer alternatives, even though there are dozens on the market, and they have worked with me for years, so they are well aware of my identity.
