I have been using an Isotek Titan GUII power conditioner for nearly 20 years. It finally stopped working recently. Having purchased an Atoll DR200 EVO CD transport from Richard and been extremely pleased with the service he provided I turned to him again after trying to live with a Monster Cable power block and finding the results disappointing to say the least.
I replaced my broken IsoTek Titan GUII which had given great service for nearly 20 years with a IsoTek V5 Aquarius, V5 Polaris Mains block and V5 Syncro Uni 16. I also ordered a Sequel mains cable and Sequel system link cable.
The improvement using the Premier power cable supplied with the Aquarius was clear to hear and very impressive.
Things improved even more when I put the V5 Syncro Uni 16 into the system with the Sequel power cable replacing the Premier cable to the wall socket and the Premier running from the Syncro V5 Uni 16 to the V5 Aquarius. I ordered the Uni 16, having spoken to Richard and read reviews and watched videos, to complement the Isotek Aquarius V5. With the Sequel mains power lead in place my jaw hit the floor. A staggering improvement. I recently went to see a live concert by a band I have seen a few times before over the years and I commented to my wife how the female vocalists voice had changed over the years. Having listened to the latest CD on another system she sounded little different to a few years ago, but the Aquarius and Uni 16 represented her vocals as I had heard them at the live concert. Very impressive kit.
I initially had the V5 Polaris plugged into a wall socket and this has been a huge improvement.
I received the last part of my IsoTek order from Richard. The mains cable length I required to connect the Polaris to the Aquarius is a special order not a stock item and at the time of placing the order Richard advised me that it would be about 4 weeks for delivery. He was spot on. I placed the order on the 22nd September and DPD delivered the cable on 21st October!
I am now able to power the Polaris via the System Link socket on the Aquarius which itself is connected to the wall socket via the V5 Syncro Uni 16. This has enabled the Polaris to benefit like the Aquarius from the V5 Syncros DC noise cleaning capabilities as well as freeing up a wall socket. Very impressed with all the IsoTek kit and a huge step up from the Titan GUII.
I can’t thank Richard enough for his help and advice. He responds quickly to communication and provides excellent service. I thoroughly recommend Audiologica and I am grateful to other reviewers whose reviews convinced me to contact Richard back in July when looking to order a new CD transport.
