For the second time now, I’ve ordered an exhaust from Austin Racing, and once again the experience has delivered. My first purchase was a pair of GP1R carbon slip‑ons for a K19 Kawasaki Z1000. This time around, I opted for a GP1RS slip‑on with ceramic coating for my K25 BMW S1000RR.

On both occasions, the build quality has been exceptional, genuinely setting Austin Racing apart from any other aftermarket exhaust, in my opinion. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and finish are unmistakably premium.

Yes, the lead time may feel long at first — but that’s the reality (and assurance) of a hand‑built product made to order. Anyone unwilling to wait 7–9 weeks has no shortage of mass‑produced alternatives on the market.
However, for those who value quality, authenticity, and performance, the wait is part of what makes ownership special.
For true enthusiasts, Austin Racing delivers exactly what it promises.

I wasn't sure if ordering with a long waiting time that strongly depends on the time of the season is the right choice.

However, I do not regret a single week of waiting for my slip-on. It's insane what the guys of Austin Racing have developed. I'm on a BMW S1KR and had the Akra slip-on from beginning. Compared to all standard models it was already "okayish" but left me thinking if Euro5+ is really that limited in its abilities.

The Austin Racing Slip-On changed everything, pure, wild and loud motor sounds that gave me goosebumps from the first ride onwards. The craftsmanship is so detailed and well done, it's a shame that people think there is nothing better than SC Project.

Great team behind them. Customer service by Otto and his team were fast and direct, especially during the holiday days when things are super busy they still managed to fabricate a specific link pipe for me and gave me some goodies too, happy holidays for sure.
