They shut out autistic applicants from applying to their roles

I am autistic and found an apprenticeship with Autism Initiatives that would be perfect for me as I have relevant qualifications and experience. However, due to autism, I needed to discuss adjustments before applying.

They ignored that request and just sent me a link to their vacancy page that I had already been on. This shut me out as a disabled applicant and is poor practice that goes against the equality act.

I had a support worker who failed to turn up most of the time or couldn't wait to get out the door and did nothing for me. They refused to help me with calls as they don't like talking on the phone. Made me strip my whole flat on the promise they'd help me get the place decorated, then texted to say I no longer needed support, no review, nothing. This company is nothing more than grifters for donations.

Not a charity anymore it's a registered…

Not a charity anymore it's a registered ltd company, Unfortunately they hire staff under the guise of supported living and then the next shift doesn't turn up.
They blame everything on ground staff or clients as management is very rarely available. Management are never present and when they are staff are made to work unsociable hours whilst in one case a client was left without supplies.
Don't recommend and wouldn't to my worst enemy.

Not a Great experience

Shambles, sums them up, changing staff too often, no routine, (not good for autistic people) missing or late for appointments, eg wait 90 min, no show, next time wait 15 minutes, so gave up as in cold and rain, not even a hint of apology then put the blame on the client for not waiting longer. Say one thing do another, forget what they are supposed to be doing, years later no further forward.
