I wanted to upgrade my PDF Architect…
I wanted to upgrade my PDF Architect software so I called the number on PDF Architect to upgrade, based on their special offer. I was then given a tech, Monica, who offered to install the software remotely. I agreed and she went into my computer and upgraded PDF Architect for me. She then said she would need to clean up my computer in order to get the upgrade to work properly. She turned me over to Nate, who seemed to be Tech person she was familiar with, but it turns out that he was not associated to PDF Architect but was a 3rd party software agent who convinced me I needed to secure my computer and conveniently offered me an Adaware Privacy by Avanquest software, which he said was a multi-functional tool which would give me auto updates with VPN protection, so I bought it for $298.99. After they both remotely logged out of my computer, it froze and would not restart. In the end, I had to take my computer tower to a local computer repair shop. The local tech said it sounded like I got scammed. He had to remove the software in order to get my computer to function again. Folks, Beware of Avanquest & Adaware Privacy. With the new Software removed, my computer is working again, with my old computer virus protection reactivated. I don't understand what all had happened to my computer that day, or why, but I was under extreme pressure to get a project out otherwise I wouldn't have spent and lost that $300. on a crazy quick fix. But the good news is that my PDF Architect is working fine and I like the upgrade. I just hope that the $300 I lost isn't going to reoccur as a yearly subscription!

How to fix a problem Quick.
I chose to accept the software for cleaning but couldn't get the program to process it. A company agent texted me a message and offered help. I had been trying for a week. He got online to my computer and fixed the issue within 30 minutes. Friendly but to the point. The name was Randy I believe.
