I had a bad experience with this…
I had a bad experience with this business on their premises unfortunately. I parked on the public road within the industrial estate near this business, as it was the only available space on this road, after driving through the length of it. There are no parking restrictions (such as double yellow lines), and the road is clearly shared by multiple businesses and visitors.
Shortly after parking, a young employee approached me and asked me not to park there, claiming they needed access to another vehicle. However, that vehicle was blocked in by their own double parked vehicles in the middle of the road, which could be easily moved, so this did not appear to be a reasonable request.
When I returned a few hours later, the parking situation had eased on the estate but my car had been deliberately boxed in by one of their vans. I went onto their premises and asked staff to move their van and was initially told it would be done at some point, but this was deliberately delayed with evasive responses.
When I pressed the issue, the situation escalated significantly. The owner came out of his office area and behaved in an extremely aggressive manner, shouting, swearing, and using highly inappropriate language, towards me, while I was on their property.
I had raised my voice after I realised they may not unblock my car as I needed to leave but was careful to only use appropriate language throughout.
Most concerningly, the owner escalated into physical contact when I was within their premises, as he pushed me, in the chest, in front of my elderly father. This level of behaviour is completely unacceptable.
Eventually, the van was moved and I was able to leave, but only after unnecessary confrontation.
This is a shared public road with clear parking pressure. No single business has the right to control or monopolise available spaces in this way, especially not by blocking in other vehicles on a road that is not part of their premises and certainly not by being physically aggressive. No-one should have to experience this from a business and this behaviour illustrates the attitude towards members of the public. I would not suggest using this business.
