Birthday Present
Purchased a gaming computer for an 18th birthday present. Birthday boy was very happy with the build and the performance. We had a small issue with getting the window key (our fault) and the issue was sorted out in good time by AWD Customer Service. Cannot fault their service and would readily recommend them.

Wrong motherboard sent
Wrong motherboard sent due to an 'incorrect listing on the web site' allegedley. However now trying to get the item sent back for a refund is a chore as they don't respond to emails quickly and when I did get contacted the person who I was dealing with stopped replying when I insisted I wanted to send it back rather than keep it (why keep a DDR5 memory motherboard when I ordered a DDR4 one?) they said they had no more in stock but I pointed out they had some shown on their web site to be told they are not actually in stock in the warehouse but at their suppliers so would be at least another 7 day wait for a replacement to be sent. I now just want to return this one for my money back!! if I don't get a reply in the next dayor so I shall be onto my credit card company for recovery of the funds.
I have replied and no doubt will take another two days to get any acknowledgement.

We have since been in touch to offer two options, either a swap for the correct DDR4 board, or a return for a full refund, whichever you would prefer. Since you have made it clear you would rather return it, we are more than happy to go ahead on that basis and get your money back to you as soon as the board is on its way to us.

There were issues with the delivery, but that the couriers fault not AWD-IT.

Tomorrow at the latest!
Ordered a PC worth just over £2k. Waited the advertised 5 working days with no update. Messaged to find out when it was likely to be delivered (so I could make arrangements to be home). The response was that they had issues sourcing the motherboard. So clearly advertising builds they do not have the stock of. If I had known I would have opted for a better, in-stock version and paid the difference!
The email also stated that it would be dispatched “tomorrow at the latest”. Well, today is tomorrow, and I’ve been met with radio silence (despite sending a second email this afternoon for an update).
This is the 2nd PC I’ve bought from AWD and the 2nd that has been delayed. Fool me twice, shame on me!

Fast delivery and good communication pc came as state the only thing i'd say is i received no exhaust fan in the prebuilt i ordered i would have thought for £1900 it would include an exhaust on the rear of the case.
