I use Ayoa every day. It is the best tool for sorting out my thinking, gaining clarity about my subject and keeping me on track and motivated. In my coaching practice it is invaluable to keep both myself and my coachee connected to the key goals and allows us to immediately jump back into the conversation after a break between sessions. During facilitation and group work, I can capture thoughts and instantly turn them into a workable product. It's brilliant

Looked good initially but isn't particularly intuitive to use.
The maps created are not especially visually appealing.
I was hoping to use this for technical documentation but I can't see a way to switch off autocorrect or autocapitilisation which makes it effectively useless for me.
In all, about 150 quid wasted, really.
I hope it improves in time for the renewal of my subscription.

Apart from the stupid name they also have stupid Executive management. I bought a license for the Imindmap 10 and since these "geniuses" have taken over, they now don't let me use a product I paid for. Not a service, but a standalone product.
Great way to lose all your existing clients, "GENIUSES"!

I am an early adopter of iMindMap 10 and later 11 and uses the iMindMap application daily for priority planning, minutes of meetings capture, brainstorming, project planning and follow-up. I went to Ayoa a bit forced as my PC crashed and I had to reinstall the iMindMap 11 application on a new PC what was not anymore possible as the Server was shut down in 2023 and the verification process cannot be anymore finalized. This is a pity because the iMindMap 11 is still working perfectly on current OS generations and continues to work on my iPad Pro. Ayoa is a great tool but definitively should allow you:
1 - To store the files on your Hard disk or company server. There is no visibility of the confidentiality and security robustness of the Ayoa servers, and many companies will not allow their employees to have their data hosted in a third party server
2 - To export the files not just as a pdf or jpg; static files but as an .imx file format; this would allow me to open an Ayoa file on my iMindMap 11 application running on my iPad Pro for example
And finally, I am not a fan of web based and subscription based applications. I prefer to pay a decent price for an application I then own and can use as long as supported.
For these 3 reasons, I only value the application with a 3 star

Horrible, got tricked into thinking the app was free. Was charged a ridiculous amount for a subscription, just for the app to not work in my favor. Unsatisfied.

I spent two days trying to learn to use Ayoa.
this is what I learned.
1.The mindmap segment seems to work ok
2. The training does not fit what shows up on my screen when I try to follow the training. It seems that the training was prepared for an earlier version of Ayoa than what I am seeing on the screen. The training says for me to "do this," but often there is not a clue on the screen that is responsive to the "do this instructions."
3. My guess is that there is a conflict between the owners of Ayoa and the folks who were creating and upgrading the software. And as a result, there is a stalemate.
4. I cannot evaluate how the extras work because I am not able to even get them to work or to respond to the "training/instructions."
5. The additional instructions / training that Ayoa later referred me to seems nothing more than self-laudatory sales pap on YouTube.
what a big transformation from Imindmap to Ayoa, but I strongly suggest that the branch art feature found in Imindmap 11 was very beautiful, if we can add it to Ayoa this will be a great update.
also I ask one more question: I,m Egyptian, and I need to use Ayoa in my business , drawing a lot of mindmaps in Arabic, I noticed that the arabic letters format doesn't matching if the branches were line, it works only in the branches which are in the form of boxes. is there any thing I can do for fixing this problem?

Ayoa is a product developed from Tony Buzan's original iMindMap. I spent several decades creating a database of a lot of information on different topics both personally and professionally with links to the original source. When iMindMap changed into Ayoa all links disappeared, making all my work rather worthless as I no longer have reference to the sources. I am very disappointed that Ayoa did not show more respect by at least allowing old customers to keep access to the original iMindMaps with links. Ayoa's mindmapping is a good mindmapping tool, but based on the history I am worried that Ayoa in the future once more decide to change platform and again I will loose important information. For this reason I can not give more than a 3.

AYOA stands out as an elegantly simple yet profoundly powerful tool for mind mapping, which is precisely what sets it apart. Its simplicity is its strength, making it accessible to anyone who dreads the thought of navigating through overly complex software.
Having been a loyal user of AYOA for an extended period, I can attest to its consistent reliability and efficiency. Whether it's for planning, crafting presentations or training sessions, fostering idea development, project management, or simply organizing thoughts, AYOA has never failed to meet my expectations. What's more, its evolution is evident in the enriched feature set it offers today compared to when I started using it.
The integration of mind maps, whiteboards, task boards, along with communication tools, like chat and video, and the innovative addition of AI for brainstorming, collectively make AYOA an all-encompassing solution. It's not just about the breadth of features, but how they all come together in a user-friendly interface that enhances productivity without overwhelming the user.
In summary, AYOA is a brilliantly simple solution that doesn't compromise on functionality, making it an indispensable tool for anyone looking to streamline their thought and project management processes.

This App is nearly perfect, What I've been looking for for over 2 months. I've already sent a few things to support to improve. But overall very good. I just hopped the ai to be more useful like a chat with Gemini but with the data from all my tasks and mindmaps. Or inside the Mindmap chat to explain what I want it to do.

A beautiful, fun and stimulating way of Getting Things Done. I simply love it.

I have been doing mind mapping since Buzan published his book. The app implements those core principles. In this regard the app is unique and very good. I am talking about the 'drawing' of the map. So why 2 stars. I looked at Ayoa purley for Mind Mapping and the AI integration. The AI is in its infancy. Creating the map from Bard/GPT is better. Then the big drawback was not being able to find an import / export capability.

True second brain! It follows all the core principles of Taigo Forte second brain book. It allows me to CODE
1) CAPTURE very effectively via speed/radial maps
2) Organize using Task Boards /Planners
3) Distill via mindmaps
4) Express via whiteboard (which connects everything)
Truly best productivity tool for visual learners (and everyone)

Few things I would love the dev team to consider:-
- Have an offline version somehow which sync back to online later
- Have AI generate mindmaps (but with images to the branches not just text).
- Provide some AI generate images for free (so that i dont use the credits)

Pretty much like the system that Ayoa created. I'm using a couple of modules including AI and am very excited about the result. I hope and wish to Ayoa improve features and create new ones.

When I changed my laptop, I was very disappointed to learn that iMindMap was no longer supported as such. I couldn't reinstall it on my new device.
I decided to try Ayoa and was not disappointed. It has all the functions I liked, even if I still have to get used to the slightly different ways of getting there.

Ayoa Commentary
Main challenge with Ayoa is that it needs a better workflow! First need to separate Task/Time Management from Brainstorming/Creativity Tools. Need to be clear regarding Task definitions:
- Unplanned Tasks
- Someday Tasks
- Now, Next, Soon Tasks
- Scheduled Tasks
- Tasks with a Deadline
e.g What is the difference between an Unplanned Task and a Someday Task. What is a Planned, Someday Task ? What is an Unplanned Scheduled Task ?
1) Time and Task Management
Task Board
My Planner
Calendar
Urgency Lists
Task Board Creation, My Planner and Calendar, Urgency Lists need closer integration/improved workflow - a little confusing (at least for me)
Do I use Calendar, My Planner or Task board first to create a task?
What Does "Now" mean for a Task scheduled for next month ? What does "Next" mean for a Task scheduled for today ? What does "Soon" mean for a Task schedule for last week? What does “Now” mean for a Someday Task ?
Should take a few leaves out of the 7 Habits:
"The key is not to prioritise what’s on your schedule but to schedule your priorities"
Habit 2 - Begin With the End in Mind
- Roles and Goals (Big Rocks) [Task Boards]
Habit 3 - First Things First [Urgency Lists and My Planner]
- Eisenhower Matrix - Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4,
Schedule your priorities
- [My Planner]
- [Calendar] Calendar Integration (or lack thereof)
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly
Lack of calendar integration makes this very difficult - still want visibility of my Apple Calendar
I think if the workflow between all these tools was better I would use Ayoa a lot more!
Then…..
2 - Creative Thinking/Idea Generation/Brainstorming...
- Mind mapping Tools/Radial Maps etc..
- Whiteboards (Miro Integration - Import and Export)
- Integration into Webex (so can use tools in collaborative environment)
3 - Limited integration with other applications:
- Requested integration with Apple (iCal) 3/4 years ago
(Still no visibility of my Calendar from within Ayoa - assumes everyone in the world uses Google)
- Webex integration ? Would like to launch from within a meeting (Webex App Hub)
- Miro integration ? Ability to export (or import ) Miro boards
General Comments:
Mind Mapping:
- I was a user of Buzan/iMindmap from early days and even now they are still better - I still use iMindmap. Ayoa mind mapping still playing catch up
Workflow/UI:
- Ayoa seems to be hotch potch of tools that feel clunky to use at times.
- Task management is a task in itself
- Needs better/structured workflow - Should be able to customise.
- iPad UI and Desktop/Web UI very different (Desktop App has now been removed) - icons are different, Home page different. Confusing
Bought the subscription in an attempt to persevere with the product but in truth have for the most part stopped using it as it does really integrate into my daily workflow
[Added Commentary in response to your response]
Happy to discuss my feedback, which I was requested to provide by Ayoa (through support email). I have an Ayoa Ultimate subscription. Have sent my details via Trustpilot - who said if I didn't respond they would take my review down!! As I mentioned I am reasonably familiar with Ayoa, (or the components that have morphed into it) - Have used iMindmap and Droptask - for best part of 10 years. I liked both of these tools. My feedback is predominantly around the workflow. Maybe you guys can put together a "Use Case" Video, showing how Task Board Creation , My Calendar and My Planner and Urgency Lists can be used together. Incidentally any reason there is no "My Calendar" button/icon at the top of the Dashboard ? I think my confusion comes from the fact that we have "Now, Next and Soon" and we also have Urgency Lists (Normal, Urgent and Very Urgent) - We also can configure a Task with a Date in the future which we can assign to Now. Or a Task that should be Started Today but is assigned to Soon.....Also as requested in 2016/2017 (for Droptask) integration of Ayoa My Calendar into Apple iCal would be a bonus!

Ayoa is the best mind map online software in the world today. In college, I used mind maps daily until I got a job and landed an executive position. I subscribed to iMindmap, which later migrated to Ayoa. I also tried other apps related to mind mapping, but Ayoa suits my needs. You will know what I mean if you are an avid reader of Tony Buzan’s Mind Map Mastery book. Thank you, Ayoa, for helping me simplify complex subjects and get me through the clear and straightforward thought process. The memorization technique Ayoa provides is simply excellent. I am ready to be your lifetime subscriber.

Extremely responsive team at Ayoa for a terrific product. I recommend Ayoa to both colleagues and students as the go-to mind mapping product. I frequently demonstrate the use of the Task function to help students chunk up and organize their time for projects.
