I bought a holdall with wheels from the retailer, bagsandluggage.co.uk, in 2019. It had a manufacturer's guarantee of 15 years. It has now split at two structural points because canvas and stitching were inadequate at those points. It is irreparable. The company did not reply to my email. In a phone call, a staff member insisted that the photos I had provided showed the canvas had split due to wear and tear. In fact the slight abrasions on the handle were nowhere near the splits. The employee refused to accept this until I insisted he look carefully at the photos. He then grudgingly acknowledged that wear and tear was merely his "opinion". He then insinuated that there was not a manufacturer's guarantee of 15 years and later claimed that bagsandluggage only offered a one year guarantee so the manufacturer's guarantee did not apply anyway. This person then told me he was too busy to talk to me. A subsequent email asking for the company's formal complaints form has been ignored. (The date of incident is an estimate). Appalling service. I would never purchase again from bagsandluggage.co.uk.

I ordered an umbrella that was delivered promptly but it was bought as a gift but was not liked. This company has a returns policy on their website which is fine but it says you must email them before you return any goods which is okay. However, i have emailed them 5 times now and have not even had 1 reply. Do not use this company and do not order if you think you may need to return the item or even want the most basic of customer service. I wouldnt have even given this company 1 star but that is the lowest score i could select.
