I brought my wedding dress in to be altered, which was very sheer and needed an underskirt inserted to not be see-through at the legs.
As I have no idea about fabric, I asked if he could take care of finding material that would work well and sow it into the dress. He found the perfect colour match and material of fabric that fit my skin tone as well as the dress, and sowed it in so that you can't even tell it wasn't part of the original dress! Really amazing work and so nice to not have to go look for fabric myself and (probably) get the wrong kind. Really saved me a lot of stress and Im thrilled with the result :)

I brought some jeans and a chiffon dress to shorten before Christmas. The service was done fast and I could pick it up 2 days before Christmas eve. The quality and price of the service was very good! Very friendly and experienced tailor. Will definitely come here again.

We passed at Bakier Tailoring to ask if he could repair the coverture of our baby stroller. He promptly confirmed that he could do it. Seeing that we really need it fast, he proposed to fix it as quick as possible. In the end of the next day we got a message that it was ready and we could retrieve it on the following morning. Very nice and professional work!

Went here to alter an evening dress. The owner was super nice and even helped me with picking the right fabric and design (since I had no idea what I was doing).
The dress alteration is well made and it was for a good price!

This Mr. Bakier and his skill are awful in my opinion, and his attitude is even worse, cause he basically destroyed the clothes I handed him with trust, and he disclaimed it. I am telling you how.
I had three pairs of jeans to be hemmed, two of which were new (Nudie Jeans and Naked & Famous). I went there and told him what I needed, and I wanted to keep the original cuff of the Nudie one, cause it had a nice wash fade. Then I thought it could be nice to do the same to my old Levi's jeans for its nice fade, which is straight leg while the rest two new pairs are tapered. And he recommended it as well. Well he asked me to try on and let him to measure the straight jeans, and tried the other two to confirm the length. You see, what I meant is to keep the same width of the original cuffs of the rest which are tapered, and to have the straight one tapered to measured cuff. But, what I got in the end is that he cut the cuffs of three pais, into the same width. Well done! Three Different jeans of three Different materials, styles and silhouette, with the Same cuff? That made the two tapered be worn like carrots. What the heck is that? Even the straight jeans got a wrong cuff and looks like a little skirt.
Nevertheless, he cut off the important selvedge of the one of raw denim of N&F (if you know what that means) when making it slim, and on the other(Nudie) inside the inseam he folded the fabric in the wrong direction and cut it like, really ugly.(See the photo)
So I went back there, very angry (why would I pay money to throw away 3000 dkk spent on those pants?) and told him that those were done pretty wrong, and he said, ok, I'll see what I could do. And so I was thinking alright at least he was quite gentle and being responsible, it was me that is too petty. ——But boi no, when I came back and saw the pants still half-dead as I thought they were like carrots anyway. While I didn't have much hope and wanted to let it go, he asked me to PAY, AGAIN. PAY MORE. So he didn't mean to fix what he did wrong but just wanted to make more money from his sicking darn fault?
Now if let me summerize why he is terrible:
1).He doesn't listen to you and is not responsible to things he does, and tries in every word to say, yeah I am damn right and it is you that made it wrong.
2).He doesn't understand the different need of different kinds of clothes, and he clearly doesn't know anything about jeans or denim, just mis-applying what he uses for suit or whatever.
3).He does very terrible details, as I showed.
4).I felt given his fake attitude of being polite and thinking for you, but actually he only thinks of every minute he spent on you should get paid.
This experience has been a nightmare for me. In any condition I would never come back to this tailor's, even I live just 5 minutes away. So I would suggest: don't come here if you want something not uniform, especially if you want to tailor your jeans; more specially if you love denim.

Very professional tailor with affordable prices.

I have used Bakier Tailoring on several occassions, and have never had a bad experience. They are always friendly, take their time to figure out how you want your clothes, and set realistic deadlines for when you can expect your clothes to be ready. Last time, my clothes was even ready a few days before the agreed upon time, which I was informed of via SMS, which was great!

I also had an urgent request in December, which Bakier Tailoring fit in and still provided quality work.

I have only had male clothing fitted, so would not speak for dresses, skirts, etc., but I can't imagine that it would not be to par with my above eperience(s).

Rarely you come across tailors like Ahmed, he was very professional, friendly and understanding. His work was very high quality and accurate according to my request.
Definitely, I will be going back to him for anything I need.

Bring your old, worn or alteration-needing clothes to Bakier instead of buying new. You´ll experience a true artisan at work, stop throwing garments unnessesarily and save tons of money when you stop buying clothes you are not gong to wear anyway!

A true artisan. Very professional and fast, inexpensive service. I had a giant rip in my winter jacket and he made it look like new. I will definitely go back if I need repairs or alterations again, and would highly recommend Bakiertailoring to others.
