Should be zero stars. To repeat what others have said...

No communication, don't answer phone calls or emails (there are 2 email addresses, one on website and another on paypal), no delivery after several weeks. Thankfully I used PayPal and am getting a full refund for a non-existent item as clearly paypal had no joy contacting them either. Do not go anywhere near this crowd of scammers.

I ordered a sofa on 22nd January 2023. The sofa has not been delivered and the firm refuse to communicate with me. They do not answer their phone, they will not respond to emails. I have demanded a refund and they won’t respond. I am now going through PayPal to try and get my money back. Be warned, if you order from this firm you may end up with no product and a battle to get your money back.

Delivery quoted 1-3 weeks.
In week 4, I filled in the webform, I emailed, I called.
Week 5, still no response.
Going through a PayPal refund process now. maybe that will get their attention? Somehow I doubt it

Do yourselves a favour and don’t use this company.
We did receive a item, however a part was missing and I still believe they dispatched a slightly different variant of the item ordered.
Despite having very little to next to nothing communications with this company (email) and after about three to four months finally getting someone to answer the phone all we received were empty promises. AVOID!

SCAMMERS - paid over £370 for a wardrobe that said it was ‘in stock’ only to receive an email immediately after paying stating that it is not in stock and will be on back order. Tried to call multiple times but either no answer or the guy on the other end of the phone spouts a load of lies and says it will arrive the next day but it NEVER does. I placed this order in January and still have not received any communication whatsoever and neither have I received the item!

Do not use this company i never received my unit, this company is diabolical, they will not answer the phone or respond to your emails, they shouldn't be allowed to trade

Don't bother with this company. Placed an order on 7th December and apart from receiving an order confirmation there was no other communication. They have turned off their phone system (so that noone can complain) and don't respond to emails or communication via their website. Fortunately I paid via PayPal and have received the money back. Don't waste your time with Banbury.

Ordered furniture back in November, not arrived, and communication has dried up.

It appears Janas has previously dissolved a similar company as well as others.

Looks like this is potentially a scam site.

Ordered Soho 7 furniture set 3weeks and 5 days ago and it arrived today. I received an email last week saying it was being delivered today between 10am and noon. The furniture arrived promptly at 10am. The furniture was pretty easy to put together and there were no parts missing. The furniture looks great now that it’s set up, and we are happy with our purchase.
On the downside, the company’s communication is non existent apart from ordering, taking the money and delivery. I tried to contact them on several occasions with no joy, an out of date phone message no emails answered and the chat system was useless. If the owners get to read this review,SORT OUT YOUR COMMUNICATIONS.

BEWARE!!! Modern Day Thieves, they never delivered the item I ordered so I had to file a dispute with PayPal to get my money back, I hope people will read the reviews and avoid buying from them.

Exercise extreme caution. Terrible company to deal with. The seller failed to deliver the item I ordered and didn't respond to any communication. Contact numbers go nowhere, on-line chat rarely works and none of my emails received a reply. Terrible company to do business with.

Ordered a tv stand 10th october and have not recieved, trying to contact this company is impossible the phone line has an old message from July,do not buy from these people, started a charge back with my bank they are currently investigating on my behalf, only given 1 star because I can’t give zero.

After reading some of the reviews about Banbury Modern Furniture I was hesitant to order from them but the Eva TV stand with fireplace was something I had never seen before and was just what we were looking for. I received the unit 8 days after ordering and I am delighted with it. I received good communications about the delivery time and was kept up to date about progress.

Having placed my order on 23 August for a fast delivery, I was a bit worried when I hadn't heard anything more in over a week. My husband sent an email and I left a message on the online chat which was offline at the time. On 8 September I received an email to advise that my order was being prepared for shipment and that I would receive a message within 72 hours offering me a delivery date. This happened and we received our delivery this morning. We bought a Wotan TV stand, it was self assembly and took a little while but the end result is amazing. Good quality, very sturdy, all the parts and bits were included and we are very pleased with it indeed. Excellent value for money and very stylish. Exactly what we have been looking for for a very long time.
After placing and paying for my order online, I read the reviews for this company and was very worried to say the least. I needn’t have worried though and yes, communication may not be the fastest but the end product is brilliant. Don't be put off by the bad reviews, have some patience and everything will turn out fine! Thank you BMF from very satisfied customers!

Good afternoon, I placed and paid for my order in June but have not received my TV stand, nor any correspondence when it will be delivered. This item was over £500. Please can I be contacted ASAP as this is fraud taking money but not delivering the product. I have referred this company to Action Fraud.

Possibly a scam. Order is due to be delivered by tomorrow, have not received any shipping confirmation or tracking info. Cannot contact company as phone lines are ‘closed until 18th July’ which has obviously passed, online chat is offline and they have not responded to emails. Also receiving a lot of spam emails since ordering from this website.

Exelent product and service form BMF. I've been looking for a Tv stand with an electric fireplace for months. The website shows the delivery time between 1-3 weeks, however, the product arrived within 4 days! I have received the text with 3 hours delivery slot. The unit was easy to assemble and it looks perfect!
Definitely will use them again.

Do NOT buy from this company! The staff are the most incompetent, uncaring and useless people I have ever dealt with. It has been a complete nightmare!

I bought a floating display case in July 2021, which arrived with a defective glass part. They promised that I would get the replacement in “at most 3 weeks”. Several months later after many many calls and e-mails they still hadn’t sent it, blaming the supplier. They would keep promising it “next week” claiming it to be now in the warehouse waiting to be sent. Finally in December I forced them to refund me the purchase and they promised they would send the glass part. It’s now late March 2022 and they still haven’t sent anything. I asked them twice to give me the measurements of the glass so that I could get it cut myself and they agreed but still haven’t got back to me. In the meantime I’ve lost the joiner who was going to fix it and still have to find a floating display. It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with these people.
