Non payment of cancellation refund
I kept my late parents house insurance going with them for convenience but am shocked how poor they are. They failed to act on my instructions to change a an empty property policy to a landlords policy and as such I never received their promised £181.00 refund . The situation was them compounded as it was renewal was 7 days before the completion of the sale of the property . This resulted in a premium of over £500 which I was persuaded to pay on the basis most of it would refunded when I cancelled. I am now owed £461.00 having cancelled but can not get any money out of them . They initially promised payment within a few days which turned into two weeks, then a month and now two months ! I am now going to take matters up with the ombudsman.
