They hired me as DJ and then never paid. Never dealt with another bar in Manchester that act so unprofessional.

Deposit given to secure the room, advised can be used over the bar on the night,on the night was told I get it the next day when room is cleared. Turns out no money is returned as I got my own DJ. Fee was never mention when discussing residential DJ/getting my own. Clearly staff are not aware of any fee as I was given conflicting information twice.
Bouncer is rude, tapping people on the shoulder instead of speaking.
Inappropriate comments were heard from barmen, young girls were made to feel uncomfortable.

I had high hopes for my 40th birthday celebration, but unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. Despite pre-planning and clear communication, the food arrived late, and when it finally did, the quality was far below what we expected. Guests started leaving before they could even have dinner, which was incredibly disappointing. We pre-ordered drinks for our group, but instead of the agreed amount, they provided only a fraction (3 bottles) causing confusion and frustration.

To make matters worse, security staff started removing younger family members early in the evening, handling the situation so aggressively that it created an uncomfortable atmosphere for everyone. The bouncers came in at 9.30 to forcibly eject family members (my daughter !) under 18, literally dragging them out.

The unexpected closure of certain areas, like the balcony, without any prior notice only added to the frustration, as guests were restricted and made to feel like they were being monitored for no reason (bouncers were at the balcony door at the party to ensure no one would go there!).

What was meant to be a special occasion, surrounded by family and friends who traveled from far away, turned into an embarrassing ordeal. I wouldn’t recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a memorable event.

We brought all these concerns to the attention of the manager, but unfortunately, no apologies or accountability were taken. Instead of trying to make things right, they simply dismissed our concerns.

Never again! For someone looking to host their special party! About at the all cost!

Awful place, 2 ladies toilets one not working. Used the only available one, I slipped on the urine flooded floor and banged my head, very difficult to get up in such a small place. I spoke to the manager and I asked to fill in an accident form…she took me downstairs to complete it! I was covered in urine and was very shaken.
Not enough chairs for guests.
Email them since for copy of accident form, no response.

The venue is nice, we were having a great time with our friends celebrating and I was sober. Unfortunately the bouncers are very rude. One in particular with many neck tattoos started to gashlit my partner that was holding the door for me. Standard low life thinking he is the biggest gangsta of Castlefield. Do not recommend this place.

Hi I visited your establishment on Saturday and I was told that I wouldn't be allowed in with out a mask. I am exempt.The host was extremley rude as I tried to explain I was exempt and also told him it is actually against the law and the equality act he then started to laugh in my face. This was really embarrassing and I had to sit out side while my friends drank inside.

Here is the equality act so you could may be better inform and train your staff to be more sensitive to your costumers needs. We should not be met with laughter and dirty looks.

I am exempt from wearing a face mask. To insist that i disclose why is a breach of section 5a of the equality act 2010. To deny me access or service is a breach of section 13 (1)
of the equality act 2010

So I am now talking to my solicitor regarding this matter to gain advice of how to proceed.

Barca has a Canal side terrace now added into their list of multiple bar areas and luxurious private function suites and exclusive Crystal Room. they also have beautiful, stylish features and friendly, sparkling atmosphere, Simpaly Barca is the place that can deliver both a family friendly environment to a stylish and vibrant ambiance.

Booked a party here in the Dragonfly Suite. The organiser is useless, she told us we could decorate the room in the daytime and then booked another party in without mentioning it. The food was rubbish and we didnt get all we paid for. The organiser is rude and has no customer service skills whatsoever. Dont book a party in these rooms - they dont know what they're doing.
