I regret to say that my experience with Barons Estate Agents in Midsomer Norton has been incredibly disappointing and frustrating. From start to finish, my interaction with this agency has left much to be desired, and I feel compelled to share my experience to caution others considering their services. First and foremost, the level of professionalism demonstrated by the staff at Barons Estate Agents was severely lacking. Communication was consistently poor, with emails and phone calls often going unanswered or ignored for extended periods. It was evident that customer service was not a priority for this agency, as my inquiries and concerns were met with indifference and disregard. In addition to their lacklustre performance, I was deeply disappointed by the overall attitude and demeanour of the staff at Barons Estate Agents. Instead of demonstrating empathy and understanding towards my situation, I was met with rudeness and condescension, making the already stressful process of selling or renting a property even more unpleasant. Overall, my experience with Barons Estate Agents in Midsomer Norton was nothing short of a nightmare. Their unprofessionalism, lack of communication, and dismissive attitude have left me feeling utterly dissatisfied and disillusioned with their services. I would strongly advise anyone considering using this agency to proceed with caution and explore alternative options that prioritize professionalism and customer satisfaction. Please AVOID AVOID.

we dealt with Barons for our sale and purchase. Steve was excellent. He negotiated for us to get good prices and kept us in the loop. He kept the chain going. Would highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

They are not organise ,waisting time for people ,I came for viewing but no one showed up ,when I called them

unfortunately he had no clue that I will come ,his babies where cleaning so I see only living room and kitchen
after this to do reference was nightmares they do not have agency who can deal with self employed people ,they waisting my time ,I lost chance to rent few good properties ,they took deposit and never called me ,I always called them, they make me financial loses when they asked transfer money from abroad to show statement with bigger amount after this it was no good ,they do not control situation and do not have decision waist time for customers ,

Dire. Absolutely would not recommend this estate agents to deal with the sale of their property. From the very start communication was terrible. Barely any genuine viewings. And you know things are bad when a stranger knocks on your door and asks to view your house apologetically explaining that they tried to arrange viewings with barons over a 2 week period and nobody ever got back to them!!!! Offish with bitchy undercurrent when I emailed to say we wished to cancel our contract with them and wouldn't release us for a few weeks. From our time with them I could count the viewings on 1 hand. We were inundated with viewings with the new estate agent!!! Abysmal.

We sold our house with Barons recently and the service was great, very professional and lovely friendly staff always willing to help!

We had to follow up again and again for a response or answers to our questions. When viewing the property, the lady who showed us around did not look very professional and had no details for the property with her. We wanted to know about the council tax banding / internet providers in that area etc and she did not have a clue! After receiving the application forms and completing them the same day. We had to again chase up to confirm receipt and the next stages. The lady dealing with our application then stated “we will be in contact today if you are successful” - so you are left there (stressing) waiting for a response.
FYI if you are not successful they do not bother to inform you.

Barons have been our letting agent for the past 6 years and we can only praise the way they have vetted new tenants, kept us informed of any issues and promptly collected the rent.
They were always very quick and efficient when changing tenants and very good at ensuring that the property was left clean and tidy on completion of the tenancy.
Darren and his team have always been available to answer any queries and arrange repairs; we would not hesitate to use Barons again in the future.

We dealt with Claire, Louise and Christine during the 4 months that Barons were marketing our property. They could not have been more friendly, and also very professional, during this time. We would highly recommend them to our friends and family. Barons is a local Agency and the ladies were very knowledgeable about this area.

We have used Barons twice now already and we have not been disappointed. Customer service, communication, efficiency are all carried out to an exceptional standard. The team are always there to help and provide information and they even went above and beyond in order to assist me when our solicitors needed chasing. Will use Barons for any future sales.
