Easy to book, reasonably priced and a lovely venue in Godalming. My daughter has ADHD and it worked well having an hourly schedule and lots of activities to choose from. She has a great time and didn't get bored. She definitely wants to go again.

My daughter absolutely loves Barracudas! The camp is really well organised, with plenty of activities throughout the day. They have a number of groups, so they play with children of similar ages. Swimming was definitely a huge bonus! The staff is really friendly and approachable, and are able to build really good rapport with the children. It's not cheap, but they do get a really good experience. The head office is also very good - all my emails were replied to quickly, and the booking process is very simple. I will definitely be booking again.

Review of Barracudas Summer Camp
My 10-year-old son had the best time at Barracudas this summer! The camp is so well run, with a great mix of activities to keep the kids excited and engaged all day long.
His absolute highlight was the motor sports sessions – they were safe, thrilling, and gave him such a confidence boost. He came home every evening full of stories about what he’d done, from racing around to trying new challenges.
What I loved most was the variety. Alongside motor sports, he got to join in team games, outdoor adventures, and creative activities, which meant he was always trying something new and making friends at the same time. The staff were enthusiastic, caring, and really encouraged the kids to get involved.
As a parent, I felt completely reassured knowing he was safe, happy, and having fun. He’s already asking if he can go back next year! I can’t recommend Barracudas enough for families looking for a camp that’s exciting, supportive, and unforgettable.

Our son consistently rates Barracudas the best summer camps he's been to. From the venue, the staff at the welcome desk, through to the smiles at pick up, our experience is nothing short of perfect. He loves the choice of which activities to pick at each session, and the wide variety depending how he's feeling each day. Sometimes he's too tired for the sports, and loves to mind his own business with some crafts. Many of his friends come too; further validating how wonderful these camps are. If you're hesitating due to the higher cost to others in Bedford, then don't. The peace of mind that comes with knowing they'll have a wonderful time AND the generous session timings mean you can have a full day or work (or peace!) We've never wasted any money through him not wanting to go which is also something to consider.

My daughter had an amazing time this summer at Barracudas. She loved the variety of activities, loved making new friends and staff was amazing too. As a parent of an anxious child I can't recommend enough.

Our granddaughter goes to Barracudas in Huntingdon and it has been brilliant. The staff are extremely helpful and kind.

My daughter - who is extremely shy and has social anxiety - went to Cobham for a week's camp. She was nervous on the first day but the activity staff were brilliant and made sure that she was happy and helped her make friends.
She went from a little girl who cried when I dropped her off on day 1 to crying when she had to leave on the last day as she would miss Barracudas so much!
The early drop offs were brilliant for me as it meant I could still work as normal.
I would thoroughly recommend Barracudas and we will be using them again at Easter.

The activities are great but unfortunately my son has caught an infection 2 years in a row and my daughter had an infection on her face. The first year his nose got swollen to twice its size and this year he caught an inflection just under his eye. Either the pool or environment isn’t cleaned properly. It’s a shame because they love it there but unfortunately after 3 years I won’t be sending them back.

Our son has been attending the Maidenhead club at St. Piran's for over a year now: always with positive comments at the end of the day.
This time we booked two weeks (summer holidays) and the Staff has been great, very organized and enthusiastic.
A special mention for the Camp's Leaders who have been very understandable of our family's needs.

The activities offered to the children are varied and fun. No two days seem the same. My child really enjoys going there for the school holidays. The staff I have seen working with him seem well trained, kind, helpful, and attentive. He is always keen to attend and has come out of his shell more since doing so.

Booked a full week in Salisbury summer camp. This is the second year we have had to book the final week the camp runs and we unfortunately won’t be returning. None of the big activities were running that they have done previously. They were all packed away. Only one swimming session each, no bouncy castles, slip and slide, go carts etc. just games. I could have booked another club closer to home that did that for significantly cheaper. We have used barracudas for 4 years now and have seen a decline in activities. Whilst my children had a nice time, they also remarked it wasn’t as fun as previous years. It was definitely not as advertised. Such a shame. I would like to say the staff were lovely and my children enjoyed their company

Safety Concerns:
One of my children sustained injuries on three out of four days of attendance. Despite photographic evidence of these incidents, when I raised these concerns with the camp manager and Ruby, I was informed that no assistance could be provided because my child had not reported the incidents directly to management. The daily reports I received mentioned behavioural concerns but failed to document any of the injuries that occurred, which raises questions about the camp's incident reporting procedures.
For context, my children have attended other UK summer camps for several years, including five weeks at another facility this summer, without experiencing any injuries.
Service Delivery Issues:
Water activities advertised on the website were not provided. When questioned, staff explained that equipment had been removed early as it was "the last day," despite our booking being for the full advertised program. So I don't think the last day accounts for a good excuse.
The Discovery Squad program was incorrectly cancelled for one of my children due to a name mix-up. Staff mistakenly believed the other child was uninterested in participating and cancelled the program for the wrong child, disappointing the one who was eager to participate.
Communication and Management:
Throughout these issues, there was no accessible management team to address our concerns appropriately.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this facility and wanted to share this feedback for the benefit of other families considering this camp despite its fancy advertisement and high rating for the internet.
Also according to the camp staff, after our feedback email was sent and the reviews were published, Ruby from the head office called the camp and see if my kid still had issues on the day, and asked the camp staff to call us and pick up my kid early 11am immediately. Using unkind way and power to punish us, not sure if racism but not recommend

My 7 and 5 year old have just spent two weeks at Cobham Barracudas and had the best time. My 7 year old does not normally enjoy holiday camps but both absolutely raved about this one. Thank you Barracudas!!

Our daughter has the best time at this holiday club and looks forward to every day which is amazing. I absolutely cannot fault the team who are always enthusiastic and excellent with the kids! The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because the systems let the staff down. Over summer the poor team has had so many problems with scanners not working which has led to huge queues waiting to get in. Admittedly this is not every day. But please please please could the team have better scanners and a quicker system to get kids in??

Disappointing again at Norwich Barracudas. Whilst there is certainly a good system for checking your child in for the day that fills you with confidence, sadly it then very much seems to be about what members of staff your child is exposed to throughout the day, as to the quality of the care. Three years ago there was an incident with a child being picked on by another child physically and this was missed by the leader due to her looking at her phone and so I haven’t used Barracudas since, as this did not fill me with confidence, however as all working parents know, good childcare is hard to find over the summer holidays and so once again I was inspired by the cheery photos on the website and promise of “fun filled days”. Only two days into the week of camp I have had to make alternative arrangements as my son ( who is very relaxed and resilient ) has shared some less that pleasing insights as to what actually happens during the day! Leaders not paying attention to obvious bullying ( thankfully not my son, but upsetting for other children) activities poorly run/not run at all with any direction for the children ( giving a child a racquet and a ball does not count as tennis people 🙄)Not enough places in key activities and so if like my son they want to be playing sport, brace yourself because they may well end up doing arts and crafts, sitting on a bench and being indoors most of the day. The pack lunch inspections sounds ridiculously regimental and whilst no doubt its important that camps are safe for all users, the manner in which these pack lunch inspections are conducted sounds very abrasive, especially for younger children with food being removed if containing any offending ingredients and never seen again. I would suggest to all parents looking for childcare over holidays in Norwich to look at other options available and not be so seduced by the smart website and selected photos as we have tried this camp twice now and both times have been really disappointing.

Barracudas in Watford central is amazing, with lovely people who look after children and keep it organised - Chane and Simone. They make it easy for parents - polite smiley people, music playing during drop offs, place easy to find and just not far from town centre. Children having lots of activities and fun.
You can call them during their opening times and ask how your child is and even talk to your child, they meet their friends from school, it is quite safe using special unique code for drop offs and pick up. I recommend this place for summer holidays and during half terms throughout a year.
