Poor Effort

Oh gosh, whatever you decide might suit your music tastes , its Rayo… endless adverts, competitions and DJ’s who talk far too much. Got sick to death of planet rock ,try Kerang…just as bad…all owned by Bauer.
I remember Team Rock ,in fact I remember Planet Rock when it was a decent listen.

Support Ignored

I have submitted two reports of faults with Rayo music braodcasts but after a month not heard anything. Companies that cannot be bothered to reply to request for support are not worth more than 1 star.

Complete scam

Payment for subscription failed 4 times, two of which stuck as pending transactions with bank. Bauer refusing to give authorisation case to provide bank to cancel pending transactions. I simply have to wait for these transactions to drop off and back into my account. If Bauer do this to 1000s of customers at a time they are effectively holding a suspense account and gaining interest illegally. Complete scammers. Do not use.

BEWARE CANCELLING DIFFICULT

I purchased a magazine subscription for mothers day last year. I had intended this to be for a year and made a note to cancel in March this year. I spent a long time online trying to find our how to cancel the subscription as I noticed it was automatic renewal. I ended up emailing, as it was a Sunday and I wanted to have evidence that I had made an effort to cancel. I got an email the next day, telling me I had to ring them (for which I think there is a charge). When I rang I was told that I couldn't cancel my subscription as it was on a special offer, instead suggesting I transfer the subscription to a family member. I made it very clear that if they did not cancel the direct debit I would be instructing the bank to do this and I would be doing a bad review. The tone changed and it was confirmed to me that my initial request for cancellation had been actioned. Having checked on trust pilot, I felt it was necessary to share my experience, so potential customers know what the difficulties are in cancelling subscription.

Be wary of taking out subscription

As others have said, be very wary of taking out a subscription with this company. They are refusing to cancel a recurring subscription despite the fact that we contacted them within 14 days of the payment being taken.

TERRIBLE COMPANY

TERRIBLE COMPANY
If I could have awarded 0 stars I would have done. I subscribed for a TV magazine and to begin with all was fine, until a time began when some weeks I wouldn't recieve my magazine.
After contacting the company, they arranged a replacement which arrived the following Wednesday or Thursday which was no good because the week for that magazine had nearly ended.
This happened a futher 6 to 8 times including my christmas issue.
Then in the last 2 weeks I haven't even recieved both copies.
So I have now decided to unsubscribe.
This company are very unprofessional and the way they handle problems are absolutely ridiculous.

Beware this company: they will take payments early

Took a trial period with trail magazine, which I enjoyed. It's a shame they are using great magazines/Bauer as I will not subscribe again. payment was taken weeks early, well within my trial period. I reached out and asked for a refund, and they declined citing incredibly shady practices and not being consumer friendly at all. Their subscription management portal is intentionally always 'down for maintenance'. Steer clear of this company.

Free gift scam ?

Recently took out a subscription, sometimes the issues would not arrive at all so cancelled it, this was a bit drawn out but they did cancel it. A new offer came out of a free gift with new subscriptions, as the last few issues did arrive on time I decided to give it another go, no free gift arrived after 1+ months, after numerous emails back and forth I was promised another had been ordered for me. Its now been another month or so and guess what, no free gift again. I am told yet another has been ordered but I dont believe them, not to be trusted and I wont be renewing once this sub is over. Is it any wonder printed media is dying every day when you get such poor service, I feel sorry for all the journalists.

No one expects businesses to get it…

No one expects businesses to get it right all the time, however, my recent experience seemed to have been entirely avoidable.

Once I'd made my displeasure known formally, Sarah took matters in-hand, and provided an acceptable resolution very swiftly.
