John I think was his name at Cricklade branch did my contact lens and sight test. Has an excellent manner about him, well presented and cleaned equipment as went. Explained everything really clearly. I have been using this opticians for nearly 20 years starting when it was independent. Wasn’t impressed at first visit when became Bayfields but gave one last chance before I looked to change. John was excellent so will continue with Bayfields Cricklade while he is there . The reception staff are always brilliant as well.

First time visiting, but from booking, through my eye examination and providing my new glasses it was excellent.

I can be tough with things like glasses but the recommended pair has survived 3 months trekking around Costa Rica and Panama, and still look great.

Went here following a traumatic mis-diagnosis at another reputable opticians. It took me 4 years to pluck up the courage to visit another optician. A thorough google later and I chose to go to Bayfields. And I was not disappointed! From the moment I walked in I was welcomed and put at ease. Time was taken to thoroughly check my eyes and to select a pair of glasses. I simply cannot recommend them enough.

The optician that checked my eyes was very patient with me and helped me to not feel worried or nervous it was the best appointment I've had so far and his colleagues are all very kind to me and friendly I really like it there,and the ladies that fit my glasses are great too

All the staff were very professional and very polite and made me and my daughter feel very welcome and looked after.

Always polite helpful and no problem if something wasn’t right with your glasses.

Made welcome for my appointment with a welcome coffee. Optician was friendly, well informed and explained matters carefully and clearly. I then had the opportunity to select frames for recommended reading glasses. These were available to collect 12 days later.

Today was my first visit to the Cricklade branch and I felt it was one of the most thorough eye tests I have ever had, multiple screenings and excellent information from the optometrist. Time did not seem to be an issue and the support team around did their best on helping me choose glasses and offered a great scheme that enabled me to additional discount as well. Thank you

So welcoming and friendly, fabulous staff, took time to explain everything. Outstanding customer service.

Reception staff were very welcoming. The optician explained everything to me and I was delighted to find that despite needing perhaps a tweak on my prescription it wasn’t worth me buying new glasses yet most opticians persuade you to spend money on new glasses that I wasn’t persuaded here to change anything

Friendly and informative

Delightful pleasant staff. A welcoming light & spacious reception. This was my 3rd attempt at trying Contact lenses - such a different experience! Bayfields opticians provided a completely different approach. Each step was patiently explained & I felt confident (if a little like a dunce!) but I got there in the end. I departed wearing contact lenses, confident that I was capable of removing later without my ‘coach’. I’m thrilled and very grateful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS OPTICIAN.
