Beware for their parking policy
I stayed with my wife on 3rd August. When checking in the receptionist told me that I had to pay a deposit of £10 that would be returned within 10 days. It is today 20 August and I checked if the deposit had been returned. Since it was not returned I called the hotel. They now tell me because I parked in their carpark that the £10 charge for parking was offset with my deposit. I was never told that I had to pay for parking. Please be aware of this as it might happen to you as well. I'm not impressed with this.
The room was OK-ish, again not impressed. We pointed out to staff that a lot of ledges and the wardrobe were all covered in a thick layer of dust and that in the bathroom the toilet was slightly broken. The bed and bedside cabinets and carpet were thankfully clean. Overall a bit disappointing and definitely not what I would expect of a hotel that costs more than £100/night.
