I'd decided to have a new kitchen fitted, as my old units and tiling were very dark, the sink of poor quality, and there was a dishwasher I didn't use taking up space in a small room. The problem was, I had no idea how to actually go about the whole process, especially given the number of different trades involved: design, flooring, plumbing, electrics, plastering. I made a tentative enquiry at B&B and was offered an appointment to discuss kitchens with their designer Greg Halliday.
Greg was very attentive and helpful and gave me all the time I needed to look at samples and appliances. He subsequently visited my home to take measurements, and later produced 2 CAD designs based upon my preferred styles and colours etc. These included a substantially cheaper design, should price be a major concern to me.
Having made my selections, I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the items arrived and how soon work could actually commence (within 4 weeks)! Furthermore, although Greg had at my request given me a list of tradespeople whom B&B work with, he actually effectively project-managed everything for me, co-ordinating work with the flooring company, plasterer, plumber and electrician.
The strip-out of the old kitchen and fitting of the new one began on the exact dates I'd been given, and all the tradesmen were really friendly, helpful and extremely hard-working: everything went far more smoothly than I'd expected. Greg remained in touch throughout, ensuring that I was happy with my finished kitchen - and then later dealing with a glitch when my cooker hood suddenly stopped working, arranging for the electrician to call and carry out a repair the following day.
In short, I am absolutely delighted with my new kitchen, both in style and quality. The whole project was far less stressful than I'd anticipated - thanks especially to Greg, for whom nothing was too much trouble! Based on my experience, I cannot recommend B&B's service highly enough.

I have dealt with the fitted furniture team on a number of occasions both in regards to kitchens and bedrooms and can highly recommend both their expertise and customer service. An excellent company to deal with.

I must say, after shopping around for a while, B&B Furniture were not only the most attentative, but had the best selection on the island.

We can't overestimate how professional the whole experience was, from beginning to end! They listened to our needs in the showroom, came out to our property and measured everything up, before designing our project up with CAD drwaings and an itemised quotation. There were a couple of minor tweeks, but nothing was too much trouble to alter.

The in-house fitters were extremely helpful, clean and polite, and even though there we a couple of minor remedials, they were ordered and fitted within the timeframe they said.

On the whole, we can't reccommend them enough. Thanks again B&B Furniture for a very smooth experience. ;-)

I have a kitchen that’s unusable. Cost a fortune and there’s no customer service and the person I spoke to was the rudest I have ever come across and so ignorant to the problems. He kept shouting me down so I couldn’t get a word in. There is no way he should be dealing with the public. They have been telling me for months they will sort the problem and I’m still waiting. The kitchen was fitted March and it’s now middle of Sept. They actually sent a so called furniture builder to fix the larder cupboard in the kitchen and he made it even worse as it won’t close at all now. They also asked him to deal with the Bluetooth problem in the fan and hob. He of course didn’t have a clue and I’m still stuck with the problems. If B&B had told me the fan and lights work via Bluetooth I would have told them no way and now it’s causing big problems and they don’t even know how to fix it. The fan goes off when I’m cooking and the minute I turn the gas off the lights go out, what on earth use is that. And they expect me to be happy about their dreadful so called customer service and not to get annoyed about the useless kitchen. Oh and as for the useless so called warming drawer that cost hundreds of pounds its a complete and utter waste of space and money. They should have told me that the thing only heats from the top and stays freezing cold at the bottom making it impossible to keep any food hot and as for trying to heat crockery, forget it as it a waste of space and electric. Oh how I wish B&Q were building kitchens at the time I was looking for one but sadly they weren’t. Now they are designing and building them. I have to say this is the first time in my life I have used AEG because there was no choice at B&B furniture shop. I would in no way at all recommend it, not the oven, the so called warming drawer, the awful hob and very badly designed dishwasher. I’m getting on in life and I wanted things to be made easier for me instead of which they are so hard and by the way the so called eye level oven is so high I can’t clean reach in to clean it. All the thousands upon thousands of pounds down the drain. I have never in all my born days come across such dreadful equipment and I’m now well into my 70s with a kitchen I hate and is so very unworkable and they really do not care and it would seem not to be able to sort the dreadful mess out. You should see the plumbing underneath the kitchen sink so much of it all for a little sink and a half size very badly designed dishwasher. I am so not happy. I have had a few kitchens in my life but this is the worst. In fact I have never had problems with any of my kitchens over the years, mind you that’s because B&Q did a wonderful job in designing and building them and in less than half the time and way less half the money. I had another problem with B&B and when I complained bitterly he shouted at me down the phone that people like me complain so we can get freebies of which I supposedly had many. I was very shocked and when I asked what freebies I received he shouted down the phone a basket for your dishwasher which made me really laugh out loud as that was the so called freebie because the dishwasher is so badly designed I couldn’t even fit stemmed glasses in it. Generally there is a choice of a cutlery basket or the very top shelf to lay out your cutlery, this dishwasher had only the shelf hence the reason I couldn’t fit stemmed glasses into it. So I was given the so called freebie cutlery basket. What a freebie. I just despair at the whole matter. If money fell out of the sky I would have this awful kitchen ripped out and go to B&Q for a new one and get them to fit it.

Great advice from Paul O' Hare concerning a bed purchase. He took time to listen to what I needed and gave professional and relevant advice.
I don't need the bed straight away as property being renovated, but no problem storing the item for me till needed.
