I was shocked when I asked for mortgage under their 'advantge', I fill out site info send an exhaustive list documentation. Then I was asked to for an 'interview' that I fortunately declined and said I would do over the phone. Then I was asked obvious questions and told that I don't have enough income after retirement, they could see that from documents I sent. Other major banks have already provided proposals. This was really a waste of time.
BCGE Cash Machine malfunction occurred on 22.11.22 when I deposited Cash and it's not a small amount.

This review is dated on 29.11.22 and still no credit in my account!
I even called the Swiss Banking Ombudsman and they adviced me to write to the Bank Manager with my complaint.
The staff on their Helpline don't even know who the Manager is - one said it's Richard Hillet and his email address is invalid!
So I walked into the bank on 28.11.22 and a Mr Huisser told me it's Michael Schwapp who is the Manager and this one is absent! according to the automated response.
So frustrating!
So many phone calls made to 058 211 21 00
and the emails sent.
And not a single reply, apart from automated response stating 2 of them are absent!
Not sure if it's Ignorance, Negligence or Discrimination.
I was raising concern that I have some payments going out at certain dates to Biderbost and he told me to change the payment dates! I had expected him to offer an authorised overdraft facility without charge as a Courtesy.
I am sure they're not sorry for the inconvenience caused, it's only 1 week ago since I deposited the Cash.
I guess I should wait when BCGE is ready to show the transaction. There's no real hurry, right?
Let's hope I will see the credit before Christmas Day in 2022!
