Returning customer - returned goods, no refund, no response

I had been a returning Beautinow customer and had placed several orders with them before. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed my opinion of the company.

Due to conflicting information from Beautinow regarding my original payment, two identical orders were shipped. Beautinow acknowledged the situation and instructed me in writing to refuse one of the FedEx parcels, assuring me that it would be returned to them and that I would receive a full refund.

I followed their instructions exactly and refused the parcel on 26 May.

After repeatedly contacting Beautinow about my missing refund, I was told on 30 June that they had still not received the returned parcel and were contacting FedEx to investigate.

I eventually contacted FedEx myself.

FedEx officially confirmed that the parcel had actually been returned to the sender and delivered on 8 June at 11:59, with the Proof of Delivery signed by M. MONOY.

So the situation is very simple: Beautinow received the returned goods on 8 June. It is now August, and my €183.96 has STILL not been refunded.

I have repeatedly contacted customer service. Eventually, they simply stopped responding.

I now have to involve my bank and consumer protection channels just to recover my own money.

What makes this particularly disappointing is that I was an existing Beautinow customer. €183.96 may not be a significant amount for a company, but it is significant for an individual customer. It seems an extraordinarily low price at which to lose a loyal customer's trust and damage a company's reputation.

Returned goods, no refund, incorrect information and eventually no response. Extremely poor customer service when something goes wrong.

Great selection, but double dips VAT when buying from outside the EU. No option to buy EU VAT free from the UK for example.

E: If your prices are "fixed globally", why do they include 20% EU VAT?

In my experiece it has been good. No shipping issues mainly since I order within Netherlands.

Amazing sales on luxury niche fragrances and great loyalty program. So far haven't run into any issues.

Sometimes a bit slow responses from customer support

Will not refund me! I bought a Clive Christian fragrance, firstly I asked them to cancel they wouldn’t, I replied saying now problem I will return it when it arrives. It arrived and I asked to return it the next day. They sent me an invoice with no bank details on for the return label, I then used their address on the invoice, paid €26 for express and customs paid postage only to be told we can’t refund because we can’t accept a return you’ve paid for. I have all the screenshots from customer adviser (beautinow have requested I do not name, I wonder why)- terrible customer service by the way, I was given the wrong information and they excluded other information. I’m told I won’t be getting a refund. You will be hearing from my bank. AVOID!!!!

Always a fast delivery and response. Something went wrong with the coupons I applied, but they solved it quickly and without any effort from my side.

Top site for niche Parfums

I had an issue with the shipping company they work with (unfortunately, FedEx has not been the most reliable carrier in my experience) and Beautinow have been extremely helpful throughout the entire process of arranging a reshipment of my package.
They are highly professional, and all of my previous orders from them have been genuine, well-packaged, and delivered without any problems.

I have been a loyal customer of Beautinow for a long time now, having ordered dozens of packages from them over the years. My experience with their shipping and products has always been amazing, and their customer service truly shines when you need them.

Recently, I encountered a payment glitch right at checkout, which caused my coupon code to disappear. I reached out to their support team, and they handled it flawlessly, resolving the issue incredibly fast and smoothly. Highly recommended as always!

What a wonderful surprise! The delivery arrived very quickly, and I was thrilled with the fragrance samples. Gold is beautiful, as is Le Coeur, but my absolute favorite was the violet Ame de Fleur...amazing 🥰

The fragrance is simply divine. I only used a small spray and I can't stop smelling it. The sillage is impressive, the quality is excellent, and the scent feels very high-end and unique.

I already ordered multiple products from this store and the fragrances seem to be authentic. Delivery times are always good with no delays.
The problem is that they seem to operate somewhere within the grey market and they are not very customer friendly in general. For example, I bought several Amouage perfumes from them but all of them have the QR codes scratched on purpose so it's not possible to verify with Amouage website if the products are 100% authentic. The fragrances smell fine but clearly were sourced in some shady way.
The reward system that they have is nice but no so clear. In the past you could convert points to get Free Beautinow Surprise Perfume. I tried doing it once but couldn't combine the coupon with another one so I transferred it back into points hoping I can redeem the Free perfume at a later purchase. Turned out it's one time only and when I contacted their support, they basically told me "too bad, should not have converted the coupon back into points" even though I haven't used it.
I also left a 3 star review on one of the perfumes I purchased from them recently saying the fragrance is great but performance is bad. The review got immediately removed with no explanation. They clearly keep only 4 and 5 star reviews, no matter the product.

I know very well how the perfume market works. And perhaps that is exactly why I delayed placing my first order on this website for about a year. I saw many conflicting reviews and disputes (which probably do take place with other customers and in controversial situations), so I was cautious.

However, over the last month, during their special sale, I have already placed three orders. And for all three, I can confidently say that it has been a very good experience. Fast shipping, excellent perfumes, convenient website navigation / order process / tracking and notifications - top 👍

I confidently added Beautinow to the list of my trusted sellers and will definitely continue coming back here in the future.

I ordered two products: BORNTOSTANDOU DRUNK LOVER perfume and Olaplex hair conditioner. I only found the perfume in the box. Since a 15 euro discount was applied for the first purchase, my loss was 3.50 euros. But the most interesting thing is that the perfume was wrapped in foil, but when I opened it, I found a torn box, as if the perfume had been forcibly removed or pushed in. How is this even possible? And this makes me seriously doubt whether they are of high quality. A huge disappointment and a lesson. I do not recommend it.

Been ordering from Beautinow for years and bought most of my perfumes from them, very good prices and never had problems with delivery… can get your samples to try out perfumes from various bands.

Hi! Just a quick review from me. Besides great prices, the store has also great and fast responding (I recommend the chat option) customer service.

Unfortunately, my experience with Beautinow regarding a return has been extremely disappointing.

This was my first order from the store and, sadly, probably my last.

I contacted customer service before delivery and followed all instructions exactly as provided. The parcel was returned via FedEx, however 12+ days later the package still appears to remain at my local FedEx facility without proper progression.

Throughout this entire process, I repeatedly requested clear updates, tracking clarification and refund information, but received only vague replies such as “we contacted them” without any meaningful explanation or proactive communication.

What disappointed me most was not the delay itself, but the overall lack of transparency, poor handling and the fact that I had to investigate the return status myself through Klarna.

At this stage, my refund is still pending despite the parcel already being within the FedEx return network.

Unfortunately, this is not a store I can confidently recommend.

I have been ordering from them for a few years now and have always been very satisfied with their service and responding promptly to an issue, thank you.
