I bought a $378CAD pair of international shoes from Becci through Etsy. Understandably, by the time shoes were ordered, made and shipped, a few months had gone by.

Initially, I gave my specific foot measurement, and they came in ~1cm too big. Return shipping was at my expense, which didn't bother me because I respected the nature of this situation. Not once did I rebuke her for a measurement error at this time. Months later she asked me for a tracking number and that's when I realized I never purchased one (I know, that was a huge oversight on my part). She became passive aggressive, emphasizing how inconvenient it was for me to have not gotten tracking. Technically she made the initial mistake so the $100+ shipping should have been on her, if I decided not to be so forgiving.

4 more months pass since I sent the original pair back to the seller, which she claims she never got, so I never got my replacement shoes in time for my wedding. I thought, not the biggest deal, we can find a solution. But, she was unwilling to find a solution. This was made worse when Etsy told me I am now out of the time frame in which I could address the issue, because several months have gone by. I called Visa, Paypal, my postal service - all could not help due to time frames and no tracking number. So it was up to the seller and myself to find a compromise. Still no compromise despite help requests sent by myself and Etsy to her. I asked her for a compromise of 50% refund - external to the Etsy payment system (which Etsy said they could make an exception for). I thought this 50/50 compromise was fair because she didn't make my shoes to specification, exchange shipping was on me, and I didn't get tracking; we both made a mistake. She continued to refuse every request to compromise even when given permission by Etsy to use alternative means to come to a compromise. No credit on her shop, no 10% refund, no nothing. Zero compromise. I was to blame entirely for not getting tracking, in her mind, nor for knowing her shop policies, nor for knowing the rules of Etsy. Like I go buying stuff, spending hours looking for and reading all the fine print anticipating getting screwed over. Mind you, I tried looking for her shop policies on the specific webpage I ordered from and they weren't there. They still aren't there despite me telling her that. All I needed to know before purchasing them was that exchanges and returns are acceptable, which was mentioned.

She basically reiterated to me - I paraphrase - that she's a star seller, been in business for over a decade, has great reviews, has insurance and an accountant. She claims all shoes and measurements are done with precision, accompanied by photographic evidence; there is no possible way she makes mistakes... despite me sending her images of the shoes practically dangling off my foot and her telling me, yeah we need to cut several mm off..she still denied measurement error on her part.
I asked (once) for the photographic evidence of both the original pair and second pair being made with exact precision, and she proceeded to tell me her shoe base maker has that information... So where does her 100% confidence and 0% error come from if the length of these shoes are not even made by her? Not only that but she didn't provide the evidence she claimed she had, and she accused me of harassment and requested I no longer speak to her.
Obviously at this point I stopped talking to her because I realized I'm officially dealing with someone so thoughtless, willing to say whatever and stoop to whatever level to avoid any accountability or loss. She also implies I never sent the shoes back but she saw proof of receipt.

Etsy threatened to investigate her shop (she claims I threatened her). However, Etsy won't let me report her shop, open a case or leave a review due to this situation taking too long - I think this is why she thought she could treat me the way she did. Anyways, I'm out $400CAD (shoes + shipping), the original pair of shoes, as well as the payment I needed to make on new wedding shoes.

I have only written a few reviews in my life, and never a bad one because I typically like to empathize with people. I only write a negative one for her because of how disgusted I feel over her irresponsible, belittling, pompous and callous words and actions. I don't doubt why she has good reviews and is a star seller. I understand I'm the odd one out. But if I knew a costumer was out all that money and received nothing, despite making a huge mistake, I would still feel bad for them and do something about it. She even gloated to me about her success.

I would not be surprised if she received the original pair and stole my money. I would not be surprised if she reported this review or even obnoxiously responded to it like her other 1star reviews.

Becci was brilliant from start to finish! Answered all of my questions and was polite and patient. Arrived quicker than expected and I absolutely love them, they have been well made and can tell they have been made with love. If your a bride that loves diseny these are the perfect addition to your day! I love them Becci and I cannot wait to wear them on my special day!

What can i say but absolutely gorgeous!! The hair comb was perfect and I’d say reasonable shipping for living in the US. This is the second item I’ve got and honestly I hope to get more items from this shop in the future ❤️

Beautiful work. Received earlier than expected which was a huge benefit for dress fitting! My sister is in love with these shoes and they fit perfectly even with the size conversions. Also included heel and toe pads which is an extra special part of love and care.

I was able to ask questions and she answered each one told me what I had to do to get what I needed the product was amazing love the work

Wouldn’t go back to her, bespoke hand made shoes they are not!!! They were “The perfect bridal shoes” and their labels covered by her cheap ones ironically I had tried these previous and they didn’t fit, so her made to measure shoes are bought in and “customised”. She wouldn’t even discuss it when I informed her they didn’t fit. PLEASE pay with your credit card because you’ll need to do a chargeback!! Just to add PAYPAL DO NOT REFUND IF THERE IS ANY PART CUSTOMISED HOWEVER THEY AGREED IT WAS FRAUD BUT COULD NOT REFUND AS IT WAS CUSTOMISED BY GLUING A CHEAP EMBELISHMENT ! AVOID THIS SHYSTER AT ALL COSTS I SENT HER MANY MANY EMAILS PREVIOUSLY WHICH I HAD TO PROVE TO HER !!!
She has now reported this to trustpilot as she doesn't want people to know the truth, isn't that what trust pilot is all about honest opinions/ reviews 😉

I got a pait of Alice in Wonderland heels from Beccibooscustomshoes. The shoes fit great, amazing design is always a talking point in the room, shipped to Germany really fast, beautifully packaged. Recommended to many friends. Thank you Becci!
