I purchased the "wood" bakers rack.
I'm very handy, this isn't the first piece of furniture I've assembled, and the instructions seemed very straightforward, HOWEVER, the item itself is the absolute worst assembly required piece of furniture I've EVER purchased. It's very unstable, the pieces don't fit properly, and there's a big gap between the doors because they're the WRONG SIZE.... they're too short and don't meet in the middle.
I consider the money AND time I spent on this piece of garbage utterly wasted and I will no longer purchase anything from BB&B or Overstock
Unfortunately I did not read reviews and assumed this well known and once highly rated company was good. I ordered something which specifically stated was made of wood. It in fact is press board. I have now been on the hold for CS for over 40 minutes and had to go with the robot agent on line. What a hassle they send me a not-as-described item and I have to wait for UPS to come get it then 2 weeks later I get my money back. NEVER will shop here again.
If there was no stars that’s what I would choose. Anyone ordering from these idiots is asking for your money to be stolen. They are in Bankruptcy and also overstocked is involved. What a joke. Don’t order from them if you value ur money
Horrible Horrible business!!! I bought a rug for $180 and it was not what the picture on the website looked like. Returned it and they refunded me $112. I was told on the phone it would cost me $25 to return it so they lied to me and stole from me. Do NOT do business with these people.
I bought a nearly $700 dresser from BBB at the end of September, and it broke 4 months later. One drawer started collapsing, and then it fell apart drawer by drawer. I called the customer service line for either a replacement or a refund and they denied me any help since it was outside the 30 day window. Now I'm $700 out with a 4 month old broken dresser that I have to get rid of, and probably another $1k to buy a nicer one that will actually last. Such horrible customer service DO NOT BUY from them. The customer service has gone downhill now that they are basically Overstock.
Will never buy anything from @jamesmartinvanities or @bedbathandbeyond ever again. Purchased a vanity that was the price of a used car. Less than a year old and the paint is peeling off of it. Zero accountability from either company. They've offered me a wax crayon to fix it!!! Deleted my pro app. Never purchase from either company!
Since Bed bath and beyond won’t post my review , I’ll put it here and anywhere else. I ordered two shelf units from them. One was fine the other had two defective parts. Instead of sending me the parts or getting a full refund, I had to ship it the whole thing back. Well the packaging was too damaged to pack it up and ship back. I even bought the shipping insurance when I made the purchase! But due to the defect being not from the shipping they wouldn’t refund or send me a new one. Thanks for nothing. You only have 30 days to resolve your issue with them otherwise they throw their hands up and say they can’t do anything. And yes that wasn’t even enough time with all the multiple calls I made with them telling me wait 5 business days, 7 days, 2 days to reach out to their supplier . And that’s what ate up the 30 days . Not my fault. Every time I called, I get a different option on how they’ll resolve each one being more horrible than the last.. After pushing more I finally got a partial refund of $60 out of the $150+ I paid for one. But I’m stuck with this defect and would have much rather had the correct parts which isn’t unreasonable to expect?? Will never buy from them again and warn everyone not to either. Most horrible business I’ve ever dealt with
The absolute WORST customer service ever! We found a bedroom nightstand on BedBathandBeyond.com. Needing a set – we ordered two (based on the on-line description). We received four!! - because unknown to ANYONE, each one unit ordered was two nightstands. Absolutely NOWHERE in any of the descriptions or details does it state this. When we tried to call - there was a one hour+ wait. So, although not our preference, we made contact via Customer Care CHAT. Result: they need to check this with THEIR vendor because they don’t know either how this is sold!! Several days later, they confirm yes, this is sold as a set of two. So sorry; you may return what you didn’t want, but you must pay the HEFTY return freight charge even though it was BB&B’s error. EXTREMELY UNHAPPY!! And since these were shipped to us in separate boxes, they'll withhold double the amount from our refund. What a terrible way to do business; will never purchase from BB&B again!
Do not do business with this company!!! Ordered comforter set and had to return due to poor quality faded colors and poor fit. Paid $24.66 return shipping for this item that I could not use. Horrible customer service!!! They do not care about their customers!!!

I am writing to formally share an extremely disappointing experience with an Idealhouse product purchased through your website. I believe it is important that you are aware of what your customers are experiencing with this vendor.
I purchased two Idealhouse outdoor chaise lounge chairs through Bed Bath & Beyond. While the items were delivered on time, everything that followed was an absolute nightmare.
Assembly took five hours for two adults. The instructions were nearly impossible to understand, and the tools provided were completely unusable. We had to purchase our own tools just to assemble the chairs. At the very end of the process, we discovered that most of the screws required to secure the back hinge were missing, making the chairs unsafe and unusable.
In addition, the attached side shelf does not function as advertised. Even when installed correctly, it will not stay level as shown in the product photos on your website. It simply falls to the ground.
My attempts to resolve this with Idealhouse directly were beyond frustrating. Despite providing detailed photos, I was initially refused assistance. After multiple email exchanges, I was told I would need to pay for the missing screws myself. When I finally provided my order number, I was informed that the screws were not in stock and that I should go purchase them at a local hardware store and submit a receipt for reimbursement. This is not an acceptable solution from a furniture manufacturer.
To date, the side shelf defect has not been addressed or even acknowledged by Idealhouse.
This experience reflects extremely poorly on the product quality and on the vendor’s customer support. I chose to purchase through Bed Bath & Beyond because I trusted your brand and reputation. Based on this experience, that trust has been shaken.
I strongly urge Bed Bath & Beyond to reevaluate its relationship with Idealhouse and consider discontinuing their products. No customer should have to endure this level of frustration for a basic furniture purchase.
I would appreciate your response regarding how this situation will be handled.
Ordered a wicker rocker chair, had to put it together, no big deal. except none of the screws would line up. Had to gave 4 people to pull to line up the screws. Never will order from you again
Ordered a towel set thru Tesco and received one face flannel.
I'm done with BB&B they are no longer what they once were. Discounts removed at check out. Return postage charge is exorbitant, so you will never get a full refund. One product was not as described and photos/description were misleading. The other product was filmsy and fabric tore with first wash (washed according to lavmbel instructions).
I ordered a new comforter for my bed. When I received it, I could tell it was from a third party because of the company name on the box. The comforter was described as pink and the picture online (and even on the actual packaging) was a nice robust pink color. The comforter actually almost looked silver with a touch of a washed out pink color detectable when you looked hard. I put in a return for it and told them why. They sent me a return label but informed me that the price of the return shipping (about $20) would be deducted from my refund. Why??? The comforter was clearly not the color it was sold as. I will not shop at Bed Bath and Beyond anymore!!!! What a load of crap!!!
Ordered some glasses and when I received them , one of the drinking glasses had a flaw ,it was a sharp edge which came to a point .I took a picture of it and sent it to the agent. He actually hung up on me .And I called back again . Just given the run -around ,no real solution. I run a group home this could have been bad . If I hadn't grabbed the glass before one of the client someone could have gotten hurt.
I purchased several items. One item, a bbq, didn't match the expectations and the picture. After I assembled it, for over an hour, looked very tiny end of poor quality.
I asked to send it back and get a refund!
Guess what? They asked me to pay almost $60.
Bad people! Bad business!

I ordered a murphy bed. It would be a beautiful piece of furniture if it weren't for all of the issues I had with it. 1. They sent me two left handed boards instead of one of each. 2. One of the drawers panels was damaged. 3. Five boards were missing. 4. The drawers are not working. I called 3 times to get each issue rectified. It took 45+ minutes to get customer service each time. When they sent me the replacement part, they sent me the whole box with all of the parts in them. Now, I have 3 boxes of parts that I can't use. I would suggest they find another vendor for their murphy beds, and they shorten their wait times for customer service. I will not be a repeat customer even though they have some beautiful items.
I bought two sets of queen bed sheets upon receiving I realized this was the same brand I had bought from
A competitor and found them to be of poor quality. I immediately contacted BB&B customer service advised the representative the sheets were still in the original packaging and requested a RMA # which was issued. I was advised I would have to pay the return shipping charge and agreed to pay. I paid $71.67 for the sheets, my refund issued by BB&B was only $18.67. I again phoned customer service to complain why they only refunded $18.67 and was told the $53.00 included return shipping and handling fee. I had purchased from BB&B all my adult life until they closed all their retail outlets and was always pleased doing business at their stores. But never again will I ever order from their mail order store. I highly suggest and recommend anyone who reads this review never , never do business with BB&B either.
Used to love the store...NOw ordered towels that were NOT anywhere near the color shown on the site. In order to return have to pay about 1/3 of their cost ($24)
