Your online chat person was able to answer all our questions regarding storage beds and let us know that the beds that we were inquiring about were in stock and could be delivered in just a few days! Perfect! Most places we had looked at beforehand were telling us that we’d have to wait about 6 weeks. These were very good quality beds and when our mattresses were delivered from one of your competitors, the delivery people commented about the high quality of the beds.

The delivery guys were professional and asked if I would prefer them to remove their shoes. They were polite and very quick.

No one buys a bed thinking that things will go wrong but due to unforeseen circumstances it can happen.
I ordered a bed for my daughter who is a vulnerable adult. The old divan came down the stairs ok but the new bed didn't go up due to a deeper depth so wouldn't go round the twist in the stairs. I was informed by the delivery company that there would not be any charges for the return as the situation couldn't have been foreseen. I was passed the phone after they had taken pictures of the situation and i was asked if I would like it to be returned which I agreed however she didn't say that by doing so it would likely cost half the cost of the bed. The company's stance ( Clair Chief Executive) Initially said I needed to pay £100 return costs and £100 because I had paid for assembly and removing old bed and if I had paid for a time slot that would have been deducted from the money as well. After some toing and froing she dropped the cost for assembly and removal because no one had advised me of the cost to return the bed. If I had known at the time why would I have had returned it and lose £200 (nearly half the cost of the bed). The return fee amounted to £100 (not £60 standard) because I had selected the drop down box to chose a double bed and colour with no storage (fee headboard and mattress was included) Unlike other websites where by selecting colour and size like buying a pair of shoes you can return at no extra cost, this company says that by doing this act you are purchasing a 'made to order bed', even though you pay at the till and have a 48 lead time (must be built by fairies to do it that quick). When things go well this terminology goes by the wayside but on the return - the fees come into play. There is nothing on the home page or product information page to indicate this - you need to scrutinise and understand the extensive T&Cs before buying. You would think they would be proud to show these beds are 'not off the shelf' but made especially for you but no highlight is shown. My receipt showed I had paid for a customised bed but they are saying that is not the case when I pointed it out.
So unless you are absolute sure that you can collect on time, answer the phone when they ring or anything else which will prevent it being delivered I would consider making this purchase carefully.
I have notified to the Trading Standards.
Following the reply from the Company I did dispute what was said on the phone and requested the audio but she refused.

Beds On Legs were fantastic, from ordering to delivery, the phoned to double check the delivery date within an hour of me placing the order.

After delivery, customer support was fantastic when the delivery company didn't deliver the mattress to the correct room ( left it just in the hallway ) They kept chasing the delivery company to find out why they didn't deliver it to the correct room, and made them come back ( even though the depo told them they couldnt get hold of them at all ) But by the time they came back I had managed to get the matreess upstairs on my own.
Can not fault Beds on Legs at all with this order, ( AIT delivery not so great, but not Beds on Legs' fault )

On time delivery drivers were friendly

Ordered the single bed mattress online, i had first tried this mattress in a shop and knew it was comfy. The online price was £40 cheaper, delivered within 2 weeks by a two man team who were polite quick and did remove their shoes.

Happy with the bed and quality however the delivery and aspects of way in which the company interacted with me to overcome an issue with lack of a part was not good at all . I did not feel as the customer my issue was fully understood and followed up effectively. Also overall I felt not believed and it took a lot of effort on my part for the company to agree the issue was not due to me . Generally whilst the issue was resolved this was only due to my perseverance .

The overall quality of the product is very good but I ran into several issues with the purchase. Firstly, I was ordering for my elderly father and so I chose the product because it stated delivery in 48 hours. It was only afterwards that I was informed it was out of stock. Then later the mattress could not be delivered together and so became a separate issue with a different delivery date. The staff were very apologetic and supportive which was appreciated.
