Purchased the Advent Beer calendar. Beers were pretty average, but got better towards the end of the month. One was damaged, leaked into the box, contacted support they said 'yeah we'll give you $15 back no worries' which I appreciated. That was 30 days ago, and despite emailing them 3x since, nothing. It's not the money, it's the attitude. I paid $200 for that box delivered, and I expect a quality product.

Still waiting for my order...3 weeks and counting. Same city delivery. Nine days till Christmas...what are the chances of receiving it in time?

Beware - the experience is OK as long as you don't have to communicate with the company. I've ordered from BC 3-4 times but last time (in October 2025) I received an email about 6x of in-stock beer being "actually out of stock"; in the email, BC asked if I could nominate a replacement product, which I did within several hours. I never received a reply, and when the package arrived, it was missing 6x beers. No refund. I emailed, I called (no-one answers their phone), I sent in a support form and a chat message, no response of any kind. $30 lost - not a huge amount, but can't say that I was in the mood to gift BC the money. Not enough to lose sleep over but will not order from them again, and hope they get their act together. Anyone else - be careful when ordering during sales, peak times or relatively rare beer - you may never get your money back.

I ordered a mix of 12 Belgian beers and when the parcel arrived, there were 11 Belgian beers and one can of German beer. I tried to communicate with the company but got no reply except from someone called Ian Smith who said that he would contact the warehouse 'boys' abut my complaint. Despite several attempts with Ian I received no reply and got no satisfaction. This company has a contact number but it does not reply. Beware!! Very disappointing and will not order from them again. A pity as I had satisfaction with them before. Beware of the lack of communication with this company.

I was a shareholder of these @rseholes. They have lost everything and sold it to another company. These retards will hopefully never be allowed to trade again.

I had half of my delivery return to sender by aust post due to damage, jumped online and saw these bad reviews so reached out. The team at beer cartel responded quickly and sent out the replacement safe and sound - very happy with the service!

This is not about Beer Cartel in particular, but be aware of brilliant websites that look the real deal this time of year, especially now that Dan Murphy has low stock due to a recent delivery strike. I have been ripped of in the past

Beer Cartel im very disappointed with your lack of communication. Feels like i have been scammed by you. Paid over $100 for product that was returned to sender as per your requeat with no communication why this has occurred. Then have sent 4 emails with no response, have sent you a facebook message with no response and wont answer phones. A little bit of communication goes a long way.

Just happy with the service provided. I'm happy with the options of beers as well. Thumbs up!

I was wanting to purchase international beers for my Dad for Father's Day. I had ordered through another site previously and had many issues with them so went through Beer Cartel. They had exactly what I was looking for, and delivered my product in good time. The thing I appreciated most was that on the website, it had whether the beers I was choosing were currently in stock or not. I found this most helpful (something the other site I originally ordered through was lacking and which caused issues). Thank you for providing me with exactly what I was looking for, and in a timely manner :)

Big fan of the online functionality. Website really easy to navigate, with staff tips on what's new or worthwhile trying. Staff really good in-store as they certainly know what they are talking about. A gem of a place really and the only place I buy craft beer now.

I find it a bit awkward to fill a carton for delivery. Going over and under, checking through the first steps of checking out and back and forth to cart.

I use them for gifts for friends and family because I can trust the product and service to be perfect every time. Massive selection too.
