My first purchase was delayed twice and I found the merchandise to be very different from others I purchased in a store (same brand). My second purchase I had to return. It took a month from mailing to getting a refund - MINUS a $10.80 fee taken off my total refund! Not a great experience

Zero stars. I placed an online order and in the confirmation email my shipping address was wrong. Immediately sent and email then called about an hour later and was told that they can’t update the address and because it’s been over 30 minutes since I placed the order they also can’t cancel it. They told me I have to wait until it ships and then the carrier will be able to update my address-which I doubt. I will NEVER shop here again.

Every time I order something from Belk online it's always wrong ..I ordered gym shorts I get them in the mail and it has the sensor tag on it whatever store they came from and the salesperson who did this should be fired not doing their job correctly.. Either I have to go back to the store which is 30 minutes away or either they can send me a return label which is going to take time and I'm without my merchandise ..and send them back ..shouldn't have to do either they should have refunded me and be done . I am going to never shop at the store again or online. Lately the merchandise is terrible especially for men.

They took my order knowing they did not have the item ordered. They gave me a tracking number that led to a dead end saying awaiting the item from seller.
When I wrote, AFTER WEEKS HAD PASSED, inquiring, because I used the word "f u c k"" in my complaint, they chose not to respond at all. When I tried to write again, my emails were blocked, meantime the shipper was saying they are waiting for the seller to send the package.
I wrote to the better business bureau and then Belk responded to my complaint saying my goods were stuck in transit, and did I want to cancel the order or reorder. Another way of saying we dont have your goods but if we ever get them we will send them or you can just cancel the order. They were Behaving Exactly Like Kriminals. belk Shady and manipulative. I would not use them again because they are not trust worthy and are arrogant in their dismissal of complaints for taking money and providing nothing more than lip service after they take it, up to and including completely ignoring you and your complaints. THEY SUCK

I ordered some polos and shorts 3 weeks ago and they still haven’t arrived. I called them to ask why my package hasn’t moved from the warehouse for days and they couldn’t give me an answer. I just wanted to wear a nice themed polo for the 4th of July but it won’t get here in time. Don’t order something from them that you plan to wear in the future because you won’t receive it in time.

Belk sells used luxury bags but passes them off as new bags with a no refund policy. Knowing that the average customer doesn't know that they are not new and they don't explain that to you. That is a scam and they should be ashamed of themselves. I always thought they were a reputable store but they stiffed me out of a hefty sum. But never again and they will not do well doing people like this. They have lost a loyal customer from this situation. Do not buy their luxury bags thinking they're new because they're not. Me not knowing it was used had me thinking it was defective, because it had like discoloration on it and like small paint splashes. Took it back the next day and they would not compensate me in any way. I'm done with them and will tell everyone I know not to fool with them, because if all sales are final then the customer should know these are used purses!!!! I notice trust pilot keeps changing my word used to vintage. But you can say vintage all you want but it's used and my purse wasn't even clean inside and I didn't realize that until the next morning because it was evening when I bought it and I was thinking it was new, so I wasn't checking all that!!

They sell USED clothes and items and lie about them being new. SCAMMERS. Worst customer service. Ordered twice from them, always received torn dirty clothes from them. You can tell that they have been worn.
Items are not even packed properly.
Also they do not process the refund amount unless you call them again and again. Even after I had returned their items, they didn’t refund my money untill I called them repeatedly.
System Fail
I had an order that arrived within the allotted time as given by the website. It was two pair of pants that were too big. I chose to exchange them for a smaller size and the return was seamless. I received an email with pictures of the new pants saying the order was being prepared. I waited, then after 2 weeks passed and I had not received my order or shipping info, I tried to call to ask about the order but the robot assistant kept hanging up on me. A week later I finally talked to a live person. She told me that the system “had not picked up” the order and that she could resend it. I asked for expedited shipping since I had waited a total of 3 weeks and was told that because it was a return order, I could not have expedited shipping. That is very unfortunate. It was a very small ask given the time I’ve waited. I will never shop with this company again.
Pleasantly surprised
After reading lots of bad reviews after I already ordered online with belk i was a bit nervous honestly. But 3 days later I received the item in perfect condition . I recommend Belk and their products.

Went to purchase a bag off the website was told there was an error with my card number I entereda different card number just to find out that they charged my original card and the second card as well. Never sent me a confirmation of the order or anything, took my money from both my cards And now I’m waiting for my bank to release the hold on both of my cards because of their error and not informing patient of issues with their website to avoid purchasing without receiving. If they want to stay in business, they really need to work on this. They ruined my experience completely and discourage me from ever wanting to buy from them again.

Belk should be renamed "SCAM". Placed online order on item shown in stock. My credit card was charged. A week later no product received. Contacted Belk's Customer Service to inquire why my order had not been received. After nearly 1 hour on the phone back and forth with different "representatives" I was informed that Belk had arbitrarily cancelled my order for lack of stock, however, their website still shows that they still have the item I ordered in stock! I WAS NEVER INFORMED BY BELK THEY HAD CANCELLED MY ORDER. I was told by their "representative" that I WOULD HAVE TO BE THE ONE TO CONTACT MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY TO GET A REFUND!!!

Bought gift card thru Sezzle for an item $140.79 I'm paying for that gift card but there's no money on it I've called sent emails and live chats but the same thing No help they just want me to check my balance which shows 0 .They will not help me.
No Resolution
I have literally ordered the same online bag three times and all three times it did not get to me. They tried reshipping. They tried refunding and placing a new order. All three times it got stuck in the delivery process with NO resolution. You would think they would go out of their way by the 3rd time but NO. I finally, after two months of this, went to the manufacturer website and ordered it for $30 less! Won’t be doing much shopping through them after this.

I have been going to Belk for a while and have never had a problem until I went to the Clinique counter to purchase eye cream I found on line. I found the cream and continued to shop when a 5'11"- 6' black man with an odor, a dirty tee shirt, baseball cap and jeans came up to me stating I can't have the Clinique item where I was ( in the section beside the other counters). I told him I'm going to get it, he presided to snatch the cream out of my hand ripping my natural finger nail off. I made a report with the store manager, when I found he was the store security, and Belk Head Office. I also filled an assault report with the Fayetteville Police. I have never had an issue like this before, I always thought Belk hired quality people. I am in my sixties, he had to be late twenties early thirties. IS THIS ALL THAT'S AMERICA HAS TO OFFER IN THE FORM OF EMPLOYEES NOW!

Terrible service representatives on belk.com. So frustrating that she insisted she was right when she was not. Speaking English and understanding are two different skills that she did not have. No resolution and Supervisor NEVER called be back as promised. What kind of business takes money for a customer order, only partially delivers it, and then gives an incomplete refund for unreceived items? Supervisor never called me back as promised. No resolution. I will not shop there again and I do not recommend.

I tried to place an order online that didn't go through because of my billing address, and they still were able to charge me and are REFUSING TO REFUND THE CHARGE because there's "no order number". They will do nothing to help and are fraudulantly charging people for orders they'll never receive.
