St Martins On The Lane- The gluten free pasta was delicious, and service was really great. Damian was very attentive, while the restaurant was very busy. Thank you.

Well… Bella Italia? No! If you want an Italian experience, forget it. If you want to listen to Latin hip hop while eating fettuccini, go for it.
$20 for six shrimp and four scallops with cheese sauce that barely sticks to the noodle, not worth my money. Soda was flat, And get your own fork..

FOOD TOOK AGES TO COME, when it did it was nothing more than DISGUSTING, I feel robbed, could not wait to leave

The experience at this establishment was highly disappointing and can only be described as a complete rip-off. Upon arrival, patrons are misled by the presence of cards on every table that prominently advertise bottomless drinks. However, when the bill arrives, it is revealed that this offer is contingent upon explicitly requesting it, despite the misleading signage. This lack of transparency and the subsequent deception are unacceptable practices.

Furthermore, the staff exhibited a complete lack of engagement and professionalism. Their attitude was indifferent, and when I approached them with a polite inquiry regarding the charges for the drinks, I was met with dismissive and rude behaviour. This lack of customer service is a significant detriment to the overall dining experience.

In addition to the poor service, the quality of the food was subpar. The pizza was excessively greasy, and the meatballs contained undesirable grizzle, which detracted from the meal’s enjoyment.

Given these issues, I find it highly unlikely that I will return to this establishment.

We’ve just come from dining at your restaurant in Norwich Riverside. It’s my partners birthday and I haddnt mentioned anything in the booking until we sat down for the meal.
The staff were very accommodating and the food was lovely, and even surprised my partner with a little birthday treat at the end! Lovely staff and fantastic environment!

We Visited Milton Keynes Stadium this evening on 22nd January 2025 at 19.15pm Table booked for 5 People . The Food was lovely.
We had the £5.00 meals, Deserts, Drinks.
We asked to spilt the Bill into two half's so that one paid the Pasta Meals and one paid the remainder of the bill as we had an Blue Light Card as we work for the NHS. The young girl was pleasant and young gentleman. They said that they would speak to there Manager. Then the Manager Alexander/Alexa came along with an extremely bad attitude and refused to do this. She was extremely rude even about given her name. We can go anywhere and spilt the bill she was totally rude and when we said to her that she was being rude the made rude comments to us by saying that she can afford to pay and we need the discount. The Manager rolled her eyes at us several times during the conversation and at her staff as well. When we said to her to stop being rude she raised her voice, I said that the what happened to your customer service skills as customers are always right. Her comment was i don't think so. She accused us of being rude when in fact her colleague has to ask her to keep the noise down. I have never been treated this way at all by any person when eating in any restaurant. She was personal, rude and generally had an huge attitude. This Manager should not work in Customer Service. When we asked about Management she quoted well i am the manager and there is nothing you can do about this.
We in the end gave up and paid the bill without receiving our Blue Light discount. We had the Pasta Meals for £5.00 but couldn't take advantage of the blue light discount on other half of our bill. There was five of us and we wanted one person to pay for the meals and one person to pay for the remainder of the bill. We work hard within the NHS and should have been able to spilt the bill as there was 5 People. we only asked to spilt this in two as there was five people. I will not be returning to this premises of Bella Italia again while this Manager is there. I work In Customer Service have never been spoken to like this before.
This is not an one off as myself and my husband had an meal there an week ago and she was rude to customers she even turned away an party of 15 people as she said i cant join tables together. Why would you want an Manager who speak to Customers rudely and turns away customers.

The waitress was polite and friendly but that's about it for the good part. It has been a while since I last visited Bella Italia and the quality of the food has deteriorated. They are cutting costs too much and the garlic bread was horribly thin and almost rock hard. My main was ok but I wasn't that keen on the taste where as before I've always enjoyed their meals.

Food was gorgeous. Wines consumed were chilled. As I was on my own they looked after me. Meal was FAR better than the show I saw yesterday at Milton Keynes Theatre. Price of meal was ridiculously cheap. Very impressed and am going to Theatre Royal Nottingham next month and am going to have a meal there...just better live up to Milton Keynes Branch !!!

I was disappointed with the service during my visit to Bella Italia on Shaftesbury Avenue on 15 January 2025. The waiter did not provide fresh cutlery after the starter and required us to reuse the same utensils for the main course. This is not the level of service I would expect, especially when paying £60 for a meal and drinks for two.

Visited this restaurant at Salford Quays before a show at The Lowry. Felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. Service was excellent. Yiannis could not do enough for us. The food was delicious- served promptly and piping hot. And the portion sizes were just right.
I will definitely visit this restaurant again.

We went to Bella Italia in the metro center yesterday for it opening service was very slow staff standing about when we wanted to order. Eventually got some parmesan for my lasagne still waiting for the black pepper. Ordered a large childs meal for 8.95 absolutely disgraceful. We decided to leave before we got the childs desert so we asked if we could take it with us supposed to be doughnuts in white chocolate and coconut. After paying the bill the waitress brought us out 3 manly dough balls with nothing on them in a box. Absolutely disgusting.

Sent me an offer and have been openly publicising their bottomless drinks offer over the Xmas period, clearly stating in their own T & Cs that it's available at my chosen restaurant on NYE only to find out when you book it they are now saying it's not available

What a scam and what a way to treat their customers it's disgusting

Went to the Cambridge leisure centre restaurant. The food was OK. Our waiter was great. She was friendly and service was good. We had Tesco vouchers which when we came to pay we couldn’t use because we’d ordered off the set menu and the manager told us the price would double if he took them off set menu and charged us full price, which when I worked it out later was nonsense! But at the time I just paid- came to about £35 a head so really not cheap. The toilets were a disgrace for a restaurant- dirty, obviously not monitored. It was OK, but not great.

Average food.
Below average service.
Rude staff.

We had an absolutely fantastic break with you (our first holiday with our 4 month old) until we ate out at Bella Italia.

I’d ordered the festive pizza. And ate the festive pizza. And a few hours later the pizza came back and not in a good way. The food poisoning was intense (this was Sunday Eve 8th Dec 5:30pm.)

I’ve only just stopped being sick, 10am Tuesday 10th Dec. Please take it off the menu if it can’t be cooked properly.

I am not one to write reviews but have felt compelled to after an awful dinner.
Would have given my experience at Bella Italia CRIBBS CAUSEWAY no stars if I could (sadly not an option )

We had booked a table in advance. On arrival the restaurant was extremely busy. After 15 minutes of waiting for a Waitress to come and take our drinks order I left the table to find someone to take our order.
We gave our drink and food order at the same time.
Drinks arrived with one missing.
Food arrived with one meal missing and another meal luke warm. Food was expensive and average tasting. We were given a couple of free drinks which was the only saving grace of the evening.

The staff looked harassed and as a knock on effect were not offering the friendliest service.
Not a pleasurable experience at all.

Absolute disgrace of a restaurant at Cribbs Causeway. Should have known we would not be getting adequate service when it took nearly 30 minutes just to get our drink order.
Not only did we have to wait for drinks but it was past 1 hour when the food arrived but it turned out my waitress didn’t put my order through, so for a party of 6 only 5 got their order.
We only got our food as we asked where it was and then the waitress asked me what I had ordered, and when she came back said it hasn't been put through. She then offered some random meal but by this point I had lost my appetite but she got all annoyed at me, as if this was my fault and proceeded to talk to me as if i was a toddler who didn't want his lunch.

Atmosphere was also very poor.

The only thing i would say is that they are obviously understaffed.

i went here on my birthday to have lunch with my family and friends, I got £15 voucher but when I tried to use it they wouldn’t accept it on set menu. Ended up spending the same amount.

Food is also tasteless and pretty small servings compared to other restaurants

Bristol Cribbs Causeway - food was undercooked and made me ill, service was very slow and was over charged. Terrible experience - avoid it

Great meal.
However, the service charge is not mentioned on the menu and should not be a percentage.
Serving an expensive meal takes the same effort as a cheaper one. I prefer to give a cash tip (if at all) of my choosing. It would be more honest to increase all the prices by 12½% Having a service charge does not encourage staff to give outstanding service!
