Parking Scam

Got an 800 kr parking ticket even though the parking signs said unlimited free parking. The hotel had sold the rights to it's parking to the fradulent parking company Euro-park. When I went to the reception they just tried to wash their hands but the truth is they profited from this obvious scam! I'm no longer a customer of Marriot Hotel!

Disappointing stay

Disappointing stay – poor service and no respect for our reservation

We had booked a stay at Bella Sky from Friday to Sunday and received full confirmation, including room details. However, upon arrival, we were told the hotel was fully booked.

Instead of the queen-size bed we reserved, we were given a room with two single beds. The only compensation offered was free breakfast, which was presented as the only option. We felt pressured to accept it, as no alternatives were provided.

The level of service was far below what we expected from a hotel of this standard. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning

Very rude and unprofessional reception staff

The cleaning staff is kind and professional, while the reception staff is exactly the opposite. Perhaps they should swap roles?
When I arrived, I had a room fully prepaid through Expedia, but a very bossy lady at the reception insisted that I provide an additional credit card for "security reasons," something that had never been stated in the booking conditions. When I said I didn't have one, she was very rude and said then they wouldn’t give me the room, nor refund my money (six nights already paid for!). Her tone was openly hostile, and it felt as if she were the customer, not me. Very unprofessional and unpleasant, never seen something like that. Always in a bossy way, she told me to call a relative or friend in Italy and ask for their credit card number (?!?). It was already late afternoon, and the hotel is located on the outskirts of Copenhagen. And I had nowhere to go.
I asked where I could find a tourist office, but the same rude woman said she didn't know (?) and that I should look it up online.
Not to be left without accomodation I was forced to give them a debit card, while her tone became almost mocking. I finally received the room key card, but it didn’t work. So I had to return to the reception with my luggage, and the same rude woman insinuated that I had probably gone to the wrong room—only to later apologize when she realized the key card was defective.
On the day of checkout, I went to pay for a day's bicycle rental. They asked for 150 kroner, which was ok for me and I paid in cash, but they didn’t provide a receipt nor send one via email. They just took the cash and that was all!
I found that very uncorrect and unprofessional.
The reception staff in general is nervous and poorly trained. They lack awareness of their role and have very poor interpersonal communication skills. Something like this has never happened to me before—not in Sweden, not in Norway, nor anywhere else. It's not up to the standards of a Marriott nor Scandinavian society.

Our wedding night won’t come again

Our wedding night won’t come again – and neither will we. Our family tried to have champagne and chocolate delivered to our room, but it was completely impossible. When you call them, you get connected to a call center abroad. Very poor and lacking service. We were met by staff who didn’t speak Danish and didn’t know about our special evening, even though we had explicitly made it clear in our booking, where we also requested a room with a nice view. Instead, we got a room with a view of the other tower. The room was cold when we arrived, and the breakfast was subpar, so we ended up leaving without eating anything. Really a disappointing hotel – we don’t understand how it’s still open. Tourist trap, stay away.

Give 1 star just for their acknowledge of the techinical issues resulting in no heat in various suites. Television non functioning , well might been even more discovered during planned weekend stay.
Absolutely stunned about such negliance of maintenance over time that been proven in various statements here on trustpilot. Even worse that no maintenance performed even issues well documented.
We can not give any recomendations or forgiveness at un-solvable damage have been done.
Obly hope this statement proves to have some effect in correcting the issues.

Dishonest and mean behaviour experienced

Have worked here a few times. Been lied about and treated with disrespect. The person in charge Jan has a dishonest, mean attitude and uses his position wrongly. It seems he has complained about me after I have done a great job here which has caused me to not get jobs from the agency I was with. Unfortunate lies and dishonesty from such people should cause a good person not get a chance to work. Would not recommend going here if he is around.

My daughter and I visited the Bella Sky…

My daughter and I visited the Bella Sky hotel for a one night getaway on 26th March and we had decided to spend a night at Bella Sky Hotel, to have dinner at Basalt or Sukaiba, and/or drinks at Sukaiba in the evening.
When I made the reservation online there were no warning messages informing that no restaurants were open/available....nothing...nor in the email confirmation there was any information related to closed restaurants. Otherwise, I would have canceled the booking for now.

Some time ago we visited Sukaiba for dinner and we were impressed and we have always wanted to come back and book an overnight stay with dinner. We remembered that it was rather fine dining and a dress code, so we had packed dresses etc. and we looked so much forward to our cosy getaway stay at Bella Sky Hotel.

We arrived at the reception at 15 oclock on 26 March, and during the check in, where I gave my credit card for payment, I asked the receptionist, if she could book at dinner time table at Basalt restaurant, or Sukaiba, I asked twice and she said that we could just go upstairs on 1st floor and book the table and that Sukaiba was closed.

Once we went to our room on18th floor, we immediately went back down to the 1st floor to book the table at the restaurant, but we could not find the restaurant Basalt, only something called Brasserie Martha that was closed.

We went back to the reception asking where is Restaurant Basalt and/or if Brasserie Marta would be open for dinner. The receptionist said ohhh ohhhh they are closed...like it was a sudden question....
We were rather puzzled, as I just asked her a few minutes earlier during our check in to help us book a table and were told to go upstairs to book the table ourselves. I said to her, if there are no restaurants open in the hotel, then we would like to check out and get our money back or a voucher to use later when restaurants were open again, as the whole idea for us was to stay in the hotel having a nice dinner and relaxing drinks upstairs.

The receptionist then said we could not check out and get our money back as we had already checked in.....again we were even more puzzled, but instead she offered us an upgrade, which only was a larger room on the 14th floor (the room was not impressive), which we accepted despite we already had booked a higher up room (18th floor) with City view. She also said we could then get a 20 % discount in the floor bar and that we could e.g. go outside to eat dinner in the neighborhood.

We went to the bar down stairs and got two caffe latte for 78 Dkk. and we went with our coffees to sit in the spot with the tables and chairs next to the bar so we could sit and decide what to do about our dinner situation...but immediately came running an asian man shouting rudely: you cannot sit there this is for eating only...I got really upset...as there were no one sitting there and we just wanted as hotel guests to drink our coffee for 10 minutes...That is the worst hotel experience and rude service ever, completely unexpected.

At 18 oclock we took a taxi to a restaurant nearby and paid 600 Dkk total for the taxi only.

Next morning, when we checked out, the receptionist asked for confirmation of the final amount incl. coffee and my credit card agin, I said, but we paid for the room already yesterday, as we could not check out as we were told that we had already paid and checked in, but it appeared that we did not pay after all the day before... The hotel only reserved the credit card number.....so I asked how come we would not have cancelled/checked out yesterday or perhaps gotten a voucher to use later once the restaurants are open again....nothing but silence...no reply...

Finally, I said to the receptionist that was just eager to deduct 1670 kr. for a night stay incl. 2 x Coffee (and not even offering the coffee for free).....that I would file a complaint. And apart from the disappointment over closed restaurants in Bella Sky, and being yelled at in the bar, I must say that this was a very low service level, inappropriate and incompetent service we encountered in Bella Sky hotel, not letting us to check out and /or offer us a voucher for the payment instead, payment that I made only upon checking out of the hotel.

The guest relations manager offered in an email us to come back and get 20% discount and a free drink in the Sukaiba restaurant… and free breakfast (that was awful and boring) but despite the offer, We will not be visiting Bella Sky again…

AC Bella Sky cheated my dad for 26.000…

AC Bella Sky cheated my dad for 26.000 DKK!!!

My dad have a company who provides for a party company providing food trucks. He was booked for a staff party for Bella Sky employees back in August where he showed up and served them food. As he reached out to them afterwards and pushed for his money they just simply don’t reply, ghosted him and the staff in the hotel can’t help with anything. The guy who booked my dad is not working for the hotel anymore and the hotel doesn’t take any responsibility at all. They still owe him 26.000 DKK!!!

Disgusting behavior and if not paid soon or contacted we will send it to Inkasso if necessary.

Extremely bad customer care, behind money too much

There is still more than a month's time for our visit and we had a medical emergency for one of the travelers, I requested (AC Hotel by Marriott Bella Sky Copenhagen) a refund or issue a voucher so that I can re-use it later. But they are not ready at all whatsoever is the case. The bad thing is the refundable and non-refundable bookings are just a 1.5 USD difference. They don't have any consideration whatever so. I would never choose to stay in Marriotts anymore. So behind money - no care for customers

Memorable stay

Although a few misunderstandings, before the stay , these where rectified and we had an amazing stay and my grandson had a wish fulfilled . The staff, manager, reception, restaurants , sky bar, went the extra mile, to ensure good service, amounting to a very memorable stay at Bella Sky. Thank you Bella Sky. We will be back.

Impossible to get hold of anyone in…

Impossible to get hold of anyone in Spa.
Reservation service is non-existent. After a few attempts to get any help over the phone, it is impossible to get the confirmation of the SPA reservation. Waste of money.
