I would give them negative stars if that were possible. Mascara caused a severe eye allergy. It’s been 3 months of me calling, emailing, and them ignoring me. My emails go unanswered, calls are drop... See more

Katie in the Crawley Boots…
Katie in the Crawley Boots store was incredible! Knowledgable and didn’t try to upsell. Had a lovely chat! Thank you xx
Good but not great!
I have mixed feelings about Benefit. Some of their products like the Precisely My Brow pencil and The POREfessional primer are holy grail status for me - I can't live without them! However, a lot of their other products have been miss rather than hit. Their boxed powders and blushes seem to lack pigment and their mascaras and bronzers just don't wow me. I also find some of their cutesy retro packaging to be a bit overdone. Overall quality is good but not mind blowing.
10 stars
Wow, I wasn't happy with my purchase, but Benefit were just exceptional at solving this issue and I would never hesitate buying from them again due to such exquisite customer service. Thank you!
High beam
What's happened to the size of the bottle!!!!!!!!!!!!! Received my new bottle yesterday and it's literally 50% smaller but not the price of course!!!!!!!!! Absolutely disgusted. Last time I'll be ordering anything from Benefit.
I bought the Pore fessional Deep
I bought the Pore fessional Deep Retreat and when I opened it it was less than half full. Too expensive for so little product in big packaging. Now I'm sad
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE POLICY
VERY DISAPPOINTED! I ordered 3 brow pencils only because of the 30% FRIYAY code. After 3 tries to place the order, the discount did not show up. Purchase was on PayPal. Sometimes the discount doesn't show until after you hit SUBMIT. After 3 hours, only I got confirmation of full price. I called Benefit. She said sales could only be canceled within 30 minutes. Couldn't even offer me a credit. I called PayPal. They said to call Benefit back, that the sale had not gone through yet. I called them and got the same woman. She basically said too bad for me and how sorry she was! Supposedly she got hold of a supervisor who would do nothing either. So when the items arrive I will take them to a store and never buy a Benefit product again. I could have bought these at Target, as I have in the past, and gotten my 5% discount.
As a follow-up, I did return the products and have not gotten confirmation of receiving them, or a refund.
Disappointing
I love benefit but I recently ordered a mystery box for £60. These have previously been £40 so not only have they increased it by £20, you get less full size products. The minis you can get as gifts with purchase and when adding up the prices on their website it comes to £105 when they state you get £115 worth of value. But really it’s even less than that if you only count full size products £67.50 as the rest I always get as gifts with purchase. I would rather have spent that money on items I’ll actually use.

I would have given five star once…
I used to love their range years ago but more recently they have reduced the range in a huge way. Ingredients change to their tinted moisturiser, my skin had an awful reaction.
Porefessional seems to make my foundation sit in my creases worse.
The boing concealer is still a really product and is their brow pomade.
But now the brow palette is huge with three colours and three powders, I only use two! Seems very wasteful.
Original dr feelgood was a fantastic primer and smelt great but no longer available.
Such a shame.
Avoid Boots Covent Garden!
Avoid Boots Covent Garden!
I’ve been Benefit customer for over 15 years and have spend thousands of pounds on their products. Staff are usually lovely and very helpful in all the department stores I’ve been to over the years. Well unfortunately that can not be said about their Sunday girl at Boots Covent Garden. Young, pale complexion girl with wavy, brown-ish hair up to her shoulders was not knowledgable and plainly rude! Shocking attitude while talking over me. The worst beauty shopping experience yet.
Poor service
Very poor customer service.
Advertised free delivery with new mascara but never happened.
Stated no code needed.
Emailed customer service to be told tough should have physically picked free delivery. Will not buy anything else from benefit online. Rubbish
I just tried the Benefit "They're Real" mascara and I absolutely love it, it's by far the best mascara I've ever used in my entire life, I thought it was too expensive but not after I used it!
I just tried the Benefit "they're Real,
Benefit Cosmetic Brow Bar Burns
Benefit Cosmetic Brow Bar wax burns, skin torn off under both brows left bleeding, swelling and scarring and in pain only to find same technician Vivian has well documented photo burning other customers at a second Benefit Cosmetic Brow Bar location and should have never been in a position to repeatedly scar customers. Staff is lackadaisical, pre-occupied chatting with anyone walking by, does NOT follow safety standards. Benefit Cosmetic does not stand behind it's Brand or Services. Avoid!
THANK YOU SO MUCH to Kim and her team…
THANK YOU SO MUCH to Kim and her team (Spitlesfield store) for going over and above in EVERY aspect when sorting out my eyebrows today, suggesting products and overall kindness, understanding and patience! Thank you! For years I’ve struggled with my eyebrow shape but Kim & her colleague swept in and took full control and didn’t let me leave until it was PERFECT!!!!
D- ON BBB BEWARE NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY
WOULD NOT ORDER DIRECTLY FROM BENEFIT ONLINE BUT RATHER FROM ANY STORE!! THEY HAVE BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE. BENEFIT ONLINE DOES NOT HAVE THE CUSTOMER COMES FIRST APPROACH. RUDE BENEFIT ONLINE CUSTOMER SERVICE! LOST MY ORDER!
AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE
AWFUL customer service, specifically the chat feature. I spoke to Laurie and then Maria. Both wasted over 27 minutes of my time and STILL insisted the promo code they offered me was correct. The promo code offered to me by BENEFIT was supposed to be 15% PLUS A FREE BAG! Not true! The scam they are pulling is that they CHARGE you $12.00 for the bag and then give you a 15% discount once your PURCHASE the bag. I'm done with Benefit directly. Ulta and Amazon provide excellent service. I dropped this company and their idiot customer-no-service reps.
Took Benefit's advice and left with an orange face.
Recently visited the Spitalfields store and spent over £100 on a few essentials, including a Hoola bronzer.
One of the beauticians pointed out that i'd be better off with the caramel Hoola over the original that i usually get. I said i'd take her word for it as i didn't have time to try it on - she was confident it would give me the natural look i was after. I was gutted to discover that this caramel shade came out bright orange!! I took it back to the store to swap it and explain what had happened, rather than seeing it as an opportunity to show excellent customer care or even remotely apologise for the ill advice - the manager simply said it's not company policy to swap or exchange once the product has been opened. Don't take advice from Benefit beauticians and don't expect them to compensate you. I left with a generic email address to request a refund - despite me explaining that I don't actually want a refund - I just want the bronzer i had originally sought out to buy !
I purchased the bad galaxy waterproof…
I purchased the bad galaxy waterproof mascara. It is by far the worst product I have every tried. A complete waste of £25.50. It smudges, it blobs and it leaves your lashes feeling sticky,as if it hasn't dried, every blink you feel your top lashes are sticking to the bottom lashes.
2x broken mascara
I purchased 2 x mascara because it was free delivery if you spend so much , opened mascara and brush never came out , I tried to push brush in lid and got in a right mess and it would not stay in lid ; then I thought well I’ve paid a lot for this item so got onto them , they required a picture which I did and they sent me a replacement, then the second from original 2 was opened by my niece (birthday gift ) that was also detached from lid , I contacted benefit again about the issue but this time they wasn’t as helpful, my husband read through the number of back and forth messages and said it look that they are doubting you ,Im sure that there is a fault on your production line and I would think that my mascara x2 was not the only faulty mascara’s,
I would never buy off line again and will change brand for less shoddy workmanship !!
I had my eyebrows waxed and tinted by…
I had my eyebrows waxed and tinted by Zoe yesterday and can I say I LOVE THEM!!! Me and my friend had a lovely time with Zoe , she is very professional yet extremely friendly, I will definitely be going to Zoe to have my brows done from now on .. thank you Zoe your amazing too 😉❤️
TERRIBLE customer service and deficient…
TERRIBLE customer service and deficient eyeliner.
I was up to now a good customer but for the second time an eyeliner had a problem so this time I decided to contact them. After a couple of weeks the eyeliner started to fade. There was still liquid in the pencil but no more coloring and all. First I messaged on Facebook every week for one month but only got an automatic response. So I emailed on the website and proposed to send them back the eyeliner as I live in SF and they are based on in SF. They said it can only be brought back on point of purchase. As I bought it in Sephora Paris ( France ) at Christmas their only recommendation was to tell me to fly back to France:)
So this is the second time this happened to have a deficient product and customer care is useless and uncaring. So they lost a good client and it seems I am not the only one....
