I never give reviews but have to say Jake at Bensons (Snipe Retail, AUL) was excellent. His knowledge of the products was outstanding and not only that he was very professional and friendly but not pushy with the sale. We went in for a mattress and came out with a headboard as well. We always shop at Bensons and would highly recommend this particular branch to all our friends, based on our recent experience.

Poor delivery and customer service
Staff in shop great, when delivery finally arrived this was fine. However delivery was 2 weeks late, customer services and transport made promises they didn’t keep. I have written 3 emails over the last 3 weeks to Bensons explaining the situation in detail, as yet no response. I did manage to get my delivery refunded, however this was offered after 1 day late, and I think some other gesture would have been nice as I was waiting 2 weeks. I will not be using again.

Andrej was phenenomal
Andrej was phenenomal, great salesperson, identified our needs well and wasn't too pushy, explained everything to a good level of detail.
Bed is wonderful now that it is build, will probably be paying for assembly next time because it took about three hours (the booklet lied and said only one).
The delivery people were great, friendly, and efficient.

‘New mattress’ smell
They said to let it settle for a few hours. I opened my bedroom window from that point, I left the mattress to settle for around 7 hours in total (I went to bed at 22:45) the whole room was overpowering with’new mattress smell’ I’ve found my first night with my new tempur mattress the most uncomfortable time ever because of the smell. I couldn’t stop coughing which triggered an asthma attack. So so far not so at all good sadly. The delivery was also over an hour later than we were informed
