What a jetk

My daughter, who's at boarding school in Illinois, wanted me to get her a camera that another seller had sold out of. She found this site, and after filling in the shipping, billing address, and credit card info, it kept saying, "Something's gone wrong,", the order didn’t go through, even though the shipping address was in Illinois and the billing address was in Thailand. As she needed to use the camera soon, so I shot an email to the store's owner, attaching proof of the shipping and billing addresses including message of error. The first reply I got was that they don’t ship outside the USA and suggested I have a friend in the States receive it, and send it to me. I responded with the same attachment, pointing out that the shipping address was indeed in Illinois. Then, this terrible store's owner replied again, saying it wouldn’t work because it only ships to the billing address and not outside the USA. He offered payment options like Zelle or Venmo, saying he might be able to help. Seriously? What a jerk! Is that really how a store owner should treat a potential customer? I don’t need his so-called "help" anyway; I can easily find another store, even if it costs a bit more.
Here's what he said
"It is because we do not ship out of the USA
We can ship to a friend in USA and that friend can get the camera to you"
" That does not work. We only ship to bill to address . But not out of USA
You can pay via Zelle or Venmo or wire transfer
Then we may be able to help"

personalized service, great selection

Berger-Bros., the largest camera store on Long Island, provides terrific personalized service. I've made many purchases and it is comforting to know that that they stand behind what they sell. I've also placed pre-orders for equipment announced but not released. When this has happened, the staff calls to alert me about the equipment's arrival and confirms whether I still want it. Staff are very knowledgeable about what they sell. I'll be buying more from them in the future.
