Berkeley, The Best!!! 👍
Every interaction I’ve had with Berkeley has been extremely positive and supportive. From my ADHD assessment to my medication consultations, I have always felt heard and understood by the staff. Mrs Jojo Lee has been so kind and supportive in our appointments and I cannot give her enough thanks for all she has done to help. The communication between the team and myself is nothing short of incredible and I never felt confused. If you’re thinking of looking into private services or ADHD or mental health in general, I highly recommend Berkeley 1000% :)

Consummate professional, puts children at ease.
Karolina has assessed both my young boys. She makes the assessment process easy for the children and puts them at ease from the very beginning. Her reports give clear, helpful and practical recommendations that have helped our family no end. A consummate professional and a lovely lady who truly understands the challenges faced by not just the children but the family unit.
Professional, timely and reassuring
My experience with Berkeley, from the very beginning, has been amazing. They are professional, they act quickly and efficiently and have made my journey into diagnosis easy and accepting. I am so grateful to have been referred to them. They have helped me immensely
A pleasant surprise
Great communication, I got my ADHD right to choose assessment very quickly and was so surprised. Professor Chandrappa understood my difficulties and wrote a very detailed report which clearly reflected my experience. After diagnosis, I had a titration appointment in a matter of days where the various options were clearly explained and I was told what to do if I had any concerns. Highly recommend
Great Assessment with Sarah Jenkins
I had my assessment with Sarah Jenkins, and she was absolutely fantastic. I was quite nervous about being able to express myself, but she immediately put me at ease. I'm actually surprised by how well she was able to help me explain my symptoms and experiences.
I would definitely recommend Sarah to anyone considering an assessment. Thank you so much for such a positive experience, if you're reading this!
Wish I had done this sooner if I knew the assessment would be like this!
I have been putting off getting an ADHD diagnosis for years as so many of us with ADHD do.....I had researched Dr Hollie Hearfield and loved the sound of her approach, and I was not disappointed. I work in mental health for the NHS and all I can say is any patients would be so lucky to have her. She is just so personable, funny and approachable. I was really nervous but she put me at ease straight away and made me feel seen and understood for all my traits. Explained the whole post diagnosis process so accessibly and clearly that I felt really empowered after the assessment. Sent an email immediately with overview of plan, couldn't recommend highly enough.
Dr Dutta was great
Excellent, can’t fault them at all tbf, I didn’t trust the cheap adhd test for £200 websites. It gave me peace of mind to use Berkeley even though they cost more, I truly believe they are one of the best. When told my gp I was diagnosed first thing he asked was who diagnosed you. I feel like if I had used cheapadhdtest.com or whatever he would have been skeptical.

I had a great experience with Dr Roma Paul, she listened to me and asked me lots of reflecting questions. I felt very comfortable, thank you!
I highly recommend Berkeley Psychiatrists on Right to Choose
I had a really positive experience with Berkeley Psychiatrists and would happily recommend them to anyone considering going through the Right to Choose pathway for an ADHD assessment.
From start to finish, the process was straightforward, communication was clear, and the waiting time was much shorter than I expected.
My diagnostic assessment was with Sarah. There were several forms to complete beforehand (which, ironically, I procrastinated on!), but Sarah kindly sent me a reminder the day before my appointment, which prompted me to get everything finished. Even though I submitted everything at the last minute, she'd clearly taken the time to review it all before we met.
During the assessment, I felt genuinely listened to and understood. Sarah was warm, reassuring and incredibly knowledgeable. She struck the perfect balance between being professional and experienced without feeling overly clinical or intimidating. She explained everything clearly, answered my questions, and made me feel informed and empowered throughout the process. I also received my diagnosis and written report very quickly afterwards, which gave me time to reflect before starting treatment. Thanks to a cancellation, I was also able to begin titration sooner than expected.
My titration appointment was with Connor, and that was equally positive. I'd submitted my blood pressure readings and weight beforehand, so everything was ready to go. Connor took the time to understand my situation, explained how the medication works, discussed potential side effects, answered all my questions, and sent through helpful information to read afterwards. The appointment felt very personalised rather than like a one-size-fits-all consultation, and we arranged my first review appointment before finishing.
Overall, I've had a fantastic experience with Berkeley Psychiatrists. The whole team has been professional, efficient and genuinely supportive throughout what can be quite a daunting process. I'm really glad I chose them for my ADHD diagnosis and treatment journey.
Dr Jojo
Dr Jojo, has and continues to be a great source of advice and provides this with empathy and professionalism, I could not recommend her more highly.
Very positive titration experience
I've been a patient with Berkeley Psychiatrists for the past couple of months for ADHD medication titration. Suzie Hawkins has been the main person overseeing my care, and I always value her empathy, active listening, and informative advice and suggestions. Really glad she and Berkeley have been part of my journey.
Professional and efficient
Meeting was useful and well conducted, very quick waiting time via NHS right to choose.

An assessment that made me feel understood
I had my adult ADHD assessment with Sarah Jenkins at Berkeley Psychiatrists, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
From the moment the assessment began, Sarah made me feel comfortable and gave me the time to explain my experiences without ever feeling judged or rushed. She listened carefully, asked thoughtful questions and genuinely wanted to understand how ADHD had affected my life from childhood through to adulthood.
After receiving my report, I was genuinely impressed by how accurately it reflected my experiences. It was clear that Sarah had really listened and understood what I had shared. The report was thorough, balanced and captured both the difficulties I have faced and my strengths.
For years I struggled to understand why I found everyday life so challenging despite knowing I was capable. Finally receiving a diagnosis, and doing so with someone who was compassionate, professional and straightforward, made a huge difference.
I would highly recommend Sarah and Berkeley Psychiatrists to anyone seeking an ADHD assessment. Thank you for making what could have been a daunting experience feel supportive, respectful and genuinely life-changing.
