Order never received - delivered to the wrong address with a comment from DHL that the package was "signed for by porch"

Avoid.

I bought 8 bessey clamps and four broke at screw piece its made of cast and snapped .contacted bessey as i thought they had a lifetime warranty but apparently this applies only in America rutlands and axminster both have a lifetime warranty very disappointing with so called premium clamps

This company trades under the name Toolchimp/ MAP UK Ltd based in Braintree Essex. My experience was very poor, too much time wasted and I am out of pocket.

I purchased four Bessey TG type clamps for a Father’s Day gift. The finish and quality were abysmal. They were all badly scuffed and one clamp not sliding smoothly. I have a feeling that they had been used since there was damage to the plastic grip caps.

The explanation I received from Toolchimp was due to Covid-19 and the new staff who apparently cannot recognise poor quality.

I decided to send them back and get a refund but had to wait for a return authorisation code and a form to complete even after I had sent several images of the scuffed clamps. So much for the no quibble refund policy.

A refund was finally processed after several calls to the Sales Manager. However, the insured return postage (£9.79) was not refunded which I am annoyed about.

I ended up ordering Wolfcraft SZ clamps from Amazon (easier for returning items). The quality and finish is far superior.

I ordered 3 sets of clamps. I received two promptly, but the other one was marked on the dispatch note as "to follow". That was a month ago. Since then, all my emails inquiring about the missing clamps have gone unanswered.

Ordered a range of clamps for a new project, they we the cheapest online. Was worried about one of the reviews so i was hesitant to order, i bit the bullet and the order arrived next day. Well done and thank you.

Ordered nearly £1000 of clamps before Xmas. Prodded them after Xmas for an update. Replied within 24 hours. Received half of the order including the free gift. Prodded again for updates on the remaining items. Prompt replies. Courteous and when they said it would be delivered the next day it was. It did take a while to complete the order though but I am going to blame it on Brexit. Lots of things ordered from UK companies which are manufactured in europe are taking longer to restock and ship. My order is complete and happy with overall service. I saw the previous review and was not my experience so thought I'd do a review.

I placed an order worth £380 over 5 weeks ago and they still haven't delivered.
I then emailed saying I want a refund and guess what!! They are ignoring my email. This must be scam.
