Best Buy Tyres Reviews 

I ordered four Dunlop tyres from Bestbuytyres.co.uk and selected F1Autocentre at Lichfield to fit them to my Renault Clio. The price I paid was £345, very good price when compared to other suppliers. Had the tyres fitted on that date agreed, fitting centre was new with a clean spacious waiting room, they even provide complimentary WiFi.

All went well until I noticed that the tyre pressures were not rechecked once the wheels and tyres had been put back onto the car, I asked what pressure the tyres had been inflated to and was told 32PSI all round. The manufacturers recommended pressures are 35PSI front 32PSI rear, I mentioned this to the fitted who argued that the manufacturers recommended pressure was wrong and that F1Autocentre always inflate to 32PSI.

I insisted that the tyres should be inflated to the recommended figures and he went off to do so, the car was returned to me with the assurance that the front tyres had been adjusted to 35PSI. I took my car directly to a nearby petrol station and checked the tyre pressures they were still all set to 32PSI. Appalled at the attitude of the tyre fitter and concerned about the safety issues of under inflated tyres I emailed the Regional Manager and subsequently spoke to Paul Bennett. Mr Bennett apologised that the tyre fitted had 'argued with a customer ' but maintained that in his opinion 32PSI was the optimum pressure for all of my the tyres .

The F1autocentre website advises customers of the risks of having over or under inflated tyres but sadly staff don't appear to have been trained to unstandthat the correct tyre pressure for a vehicle is not simply a figure they can guess at but a figure calculated by tyre and vehicle manufacturers.

On a price basis I can recommend BestBuyTyres.co.uk but if you have them fitted by F1Autocentres be sure to double check that your tyres have been inflated to the manufacturers recommended pressures.

Easy to use website and good prices, but after spending ages choosing my tyres the payment failed. The page said to try again so like a mug I did. It failed again. Tried to contact customer service but there is no phone number. Sent an email but no one replied quickly so after 5 hours I gave up. But then low and behold: two order confirmations came through and my card was charged. So then I had the hassle of cancelleing two orders. Hopeless.

Ordered tyres at the best price delivered and fitted at chosen centre on day requested no problems here. Used twice now pricing really good

Ordered 4 tyres two days in advance but when I drove to the tyre fitting depot (Malvern Tyres) they weren't there. Turns out the tyres were on a van and wouldn't arrive for another few hours.
Rang Best Buy Tyres and they simply didn't care, stating that they didn't guarentee delivery times, even though on their website you specify morning or afternoon delivery.
I won't be using this company again.
