Non-existent customer service
I wanted to share my experience regarding a recent cutlery order placed for delivery to our home in the UK from Besteckliste.
We ordered a full cutlery set, with clear instructions that we only wanted the complete set delivered in one shipment.
Despite this, only part of the order was delivered.
Besteckliste service team assured us that the remaining items would follow and that you would ensure we would not be charged import duty twice.
When the missing cutlery was eventually sent, it arrived with full stamp duty charged again on the entire invoice amount, directly contradicting the assurances we were given.
The missing cutlery was then returned to Besteckliste, but it was kept by them and neither resent nor replaced, and no alternative solution was offered.
More than six months passed with no proactive communication from Besteckliste side, and our calls and follow‑ups went unanswered.
As a result, I have now requested a refund.
Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid purchasing from this company, as the post‑sales service has been non‑existent and commitments made by your team were not honoured.
