I placed order 82944 on 02/01/2026, a £1,374 purchase (electric air compressor and carbon fibre charging cylinder) with “Free Courier Delivery” listed as the shipping method. I was not informed at the point of ordering that FedEx would be used.

I waited in for two days expecting delivery, only to later discover that the order had not actually been delivered at all.

I spoke to Best Fittings and was explicitly told I would receive a call back after they had spoken to the courier. That call never happened, and no update was provided before their office closed.

Courier issues can happen, but the real problem here was poor communication and lack of follow-through. When a business commits to calling a customer back—particularly on a high-value order—that commitment reflects integrity and pride in customer service. In this case, that standard was not met.

Waiting in resulted in lost income, and there was no acknowledgement of that impact. Overall, the handling of this situation showed poor communication and a disappointing lack of ownership.

I had to chase up an order over 3 weeks, no replies to my emails. First guy on the phones felt like he said anything to make me go away, second guy was polite and actually got my order sent out.

They sent 2 of the same parts to make up for it, but oh, I need a tool from them to install it.

Purchased the tool begrudgingly with a second order, the tool arrived but didn't fit my gun.

I just emailed them to ask for a refund, but read their refund policy which says they will take the cost of postage from my order - which makes it pointless to bother sending back.

I recently joined an air rifle club who have the facility to use bottled air rather than a stirrup pump, to load the rifles with pressure. What a luxury I thought, and decided to look at what was required. One of my rifles is a BSA Hornet PCP. Charging the air tank with a stirrup pump not only takes time but also requires a fair amount of exertion, not helped with an injured shoulder. The range organiser suggested I ordered a 'Air Arms', valveless adapter to charge my rifle using their bottled air. I looked at the Best Fittings webs site and identified the valve easily. I needed some advice on other couplings so I called the sales team. The chap I spoke to was very friendly and helpful He suggested I just need the valve and also the BSA probe coupling. He told me about postage options and I mentioned I would like it to arrive before the weekend. We agreed to send it royal mail 24 at a reasonable £2.08. I also asked if the components could be assembled. a simple enough task but wuld help make my life easier this end.
The next morning the parts arrived! Safely wrapped and assembled as agreed.
Many recent orders I have made with other companies across a variety or products have ended up in disapointment so whilst this may seem a small order, the whole transaction was a pleasant, positive experience and restored my faith that there are companies out there who offer good quality service...so Thank you!!

Directors are untrustworthy who sell things not fit nor safe. Avoid like the plague.

Bestfittings parts bought for fill port from T-Bar To Foster fitting (Same as my Daystate Guns) , Perfect good quality parts, Royal (snail) Mail messed up my Delivery , Emailed Bestfittings, Michael got another sent out right away and answered any questions promptly, Had other questions off topic and Michael gave me great help and advice, Will always order any other parts I need from Bestfittings from now on, Nice to be able to trust a good company that don't just want your Money, Personal thank you to Michael Thomas for all your help and advice 😀

contacted best fittings about an issue over a week ago had zero response, contacted them yesterday with referance to an order i had placed on the 1st of June the guy on the phone said that the order was being dispatched yesterday and i should recive it today which i did only to find that the most important item was not in the package, When i read the delivery note it was highlighted and marked to follow no estimated time period or information why it wasnt delivered. Its pretty poor customer service that i wasnt informed either by email or whilst on the telephone yesterday that the item was not going to be delivered and was delayed or why it was marked as to follow?
i spoke to best fittings sales today and asked why it hadnt been delivered and i was told it was out of stock even though at point of purchase it was in stock and i had spoken to them yesterday this was how they decided to inform a week and 2 telephone conversations later. This is in my opinion really poor customer service and shows a lack of care for their customer and to be fair the attitude of the guy on the phones seemed to reflect this attitude aswell whith his what do you expect me to do about it response!!
Heres a couple of ideas, keep your customers informed properly if their is an issue, respond to customer when thye come to you with issues with your products, dispatch orders in a timely fashion rather than use Royal Mail as an excuse for long delivery times ( It took you 6 Days for you to dispacth and less than 24Hrs for Royal Mail to actually deliver) and you definatly need to review your customer service technique no matter how must an order is for customers should not have to chase you for information!

of which the first was lost, no one knows what happened to it, the second was supposed to arrive yesterday x today, nothing...
I will never buy in England again ... 150 euros thrown away

Purchased a Buddy Bootle fill adapter. Unfortunately the adapter would not seal during filling.
I contacted Bestfittings who bent over backwards to help with no quibble. Not only did they send an additional adapter to try they also sent alternative o rings to try which sorted out the problem.

In these days when companies are working to tight margins to maintain this level of customer service is nothing short of amazing.

This one excellent company to deal with. Ordered a fitting for my airgun which I got wrong. Phoned the guys who worked through till we identified the correct one they despatched it arrived on Isle of Man in 2 days. Sent incorrect one back for refund absolutely no problem. Big thank you.
