I was given helpful advice regarding my SIPP account

The coaches are readily available and Sam Dam was informative and helpful.

Most of the reviews here seem to be focused on the coaching, which I can't comment on as I haven't used. However, I have been using BestInvest as a platform for several years and don't rate it very highly. Fees are higher than the likes of ii and InvestEngine, and I find customer service to be sorely lacking. It sometimes takes weeks for them to respond to a simple question, by which time, it is no longer relevant. I am in the process of transferring my funds to another provider as I don't have much faith in BI.

I enjoyed and benefited from my conversation with marc Fryer. He was a good listener but very clear and helpful when he answered my questions.

The coaching session I had with Melissa Baldwin was very useful. I wanted to find out ways to decide whether to use funds from my investment account or from my ISA account. She discussed the pros and cons of withdrawing funds from each, and she explained how or if capital gains tax would apply. I learned plenty from the session and feel more confident about making the decision that is right for me.

I had a coaching session with Marc Fryer, having completed BestInvest's online pre-session questionnaires. I thought he had a good client manner, was down to earth, explained what could be achieved via coaching as well as via investment guidance for clients (Best Invest no longer provide portfolio reviews) and the session was useful in that it has galvanized me into acting on underperforming shareholdings I have with this platform.

Had a chat with Harry regarding investing, myself being a novice, therefore a bit nervous. He listened to my concerns and understood my lack of knowledge and gave me good advice and tips which I found very useful.

My Coaching session with Samuel Dam was extremely helpful. Without giving 'advice', Sam helped guide my own thoughts for decision making. And this was all done in a professional and very friendly manner. When I review my finances, such discussion and opportunity to check thoughts, ideas and plans is invaluable. Thank you!

Coaching advice from Bestinvest is a brilliant service provided by very knowledgeable individuals. My coach Colin helped me to adopt an investment plan best suited to my risk tolerance and financial objectives.

Customer service has bypassed this company. People are pleasant on the phone but never come back to you. I transferred two pension which were sent from SJP, who sent wrong splits, once right splits were sent Bestinvest have spent two weeks adjusting them and they are still wrong. They never respond after saying they will come back to you.

The coaching is excellent, but that’s where it ends.

I raised an official complaint and was passed to a manager of Bestinvest and once you deal with him you will understand why they have appalling customer service. He rarely responds to calls or emails.

The platform is good on the face of it, but there is obviously a lot of back end manual processing for transactions.

Was pleasantly surprised to see this service offered, no charge and no commitments (as an existing customer). For me it was a good chance to bounce ideas about and assist me in solidifying my strategy. The booking and meeting setup was very efficient, the advisor friendly and knowledgeable. A summary of our discussion was sent to me afterwards which was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend.

I had a positive experience with Melissa .She was friendly and very patient , answering my questions fully in layman’s terms easy for me to follow.

Marc was very helpful and broke things down in a way I could understand. I look forward to using the platform.

I used Bestinvest's free coaching service for the first time the other day, and found it really helpful. The response (by Melissa) was rapid, starting with a phone call, followed up by a detailed email which together answered nearly all of the questions I had raised.

Given sound advice. Very helpful. Would recommend Best Invest to anyone.

I contacted Bestinvest to request a session with one of their coaches regarding planning for my retirement. The session was arranged promptly via a Teams meeting with Marc a Financial Planning and Investment coach who was very professional, friendly and informative. Marc answered all of my questions clearly and explained everything I needed to know. He also provided further useful information after the session.

The lady I spoke to was very informative and covered all the issues in a very professional way. Very clear what was to happen next.
