Bestofsuffolk just serve as advertisers for the property owners. If there is an issue or complaint they have no ability to get the owner to refund a stay. There is not formal complains procedure (unlike airB&B). The owners can just refuse an issue and bestofsuffolk do nothing about it. Do not trust them with your holiday.

A terrible company. We stayed in Weavers Cottage, Lavenham.
They accused us of blocking the drains and charged our card for £100 without our authorisation.
We found this company to be unprofessional and would avoid using again.
We will do a chargeback with our bank to retrieve the funds.

Staying at Mariners Cottage in Aldeburgh that has building work on one side and lock up garage storage on the other. This morning we were woken at 7, and had to have all doors and windows closed whilst we were in due to noise. The attitude of Best of Suffolk has basically been - this is what happens in towns and there’s nothing we can/will do, sorry if that isn’t the answer you wanted. What service, hopefully we will save anybody else wasting their money to book this property.

hired a cottage for 3 nights over new year, in the hall there was a leak wich created blown paint and mould, best of suffolk should have inspected the property before it was rented as it was a new one on there books, got one night refunded instead of the 2 that we wasn't there, best of suffolk blame everybody but themselves, and we are talking lots of mould that's been there for sometime.

This is one of my favourite holiday homes: beautiful decor, clean and comfortable. The grounds are attractive and quiet, and the swimming pool is a bonus.

Old Bloxhall House is undoubtedly a beautiful property, well decorated and the kitchen in particular is exceptionally well equipped. However upon arrival we found some advertised features not provided, in particular one complete room was locked. We immediately contacted Best of Suffolk who eventually told us that the website is for guidance only! Just before arrival we were informed that there would be building works every working day whilst we were there. This was reluctantly postponed but arrived to find the property was surrounded by extensive building works including around every entrance.

I booked with Best of Suffolk last year and the house exceeded expectation. This year's, Heron House, Southwold did not. It was not clean (lots of dog hair) and the downstairs lacked the comfort you would expect when a property costs almost £2,900 for a week. The sofas were incredibly uncomfortable and the outside yard was neglected. On a positive note bedrooms and bathroom were nice and the house is in a fantastic location.

Nice and easy to book. Just the right level of communication regarding the rental and their other services. They were quick to respond to email requests to change booking and other enquiries. Property was great. There was an issue with the key lockbox on arrival but someone was already on their way to fix it so we were only waiting 30mins to get in the property but that's the only real grumble and it's a minor one at that.

Good property, excellent location with parking

First visit to Suffolk, great choice using Best of Suffolk, plenty of accommodation choices, very competitive prices. Easy to book on line also, great communication throughout the holiday process, clear and easy to understand information. Will definitely return to Suffolk and use them again for our stay.

Lovely house and grounds. Very well appointed and perfect location near to the beach and pub. Light and airy rooms with plenty of space for everybody.

Red Robin proved to be the ideal holiday accommodation, everything you could possibly want to hand, immaculately clean, quiet location, and a lovely welcome gift.

We have used Best of Suffolk for a number of cottages over the last few years and always find their properties to be excellent quality and very clean. We will continue to use their services in the future for our holidays in lovely Suffolk.

Can not fault the service we received from Best of Suffolk. The booking was very smooth, they kept in touch and communicated everything very clearly.
The accommodation was exactly as described and had everything we needed.
The location was fantastic for us too, so close to Aldeburgh and the beach.

The house was perfect but the customer service even better
