As a parent of a young athlete
As a parent of a young athlete, I can't speak highly enough of the Link Centre. The facilities are genuinely world class for a local leisure centre. The gym is well equipped and maintained, the ice rink is brilliant, and the swimming pool is always clean and well managed.
What really sets this place apart, though, is the people. The staff clearly care about the members and go above and beyond to support the young athletes who train here. Whether it's a word of encouragement or helping kids push their potential, they've got their heart firmly in the right place.
When the ice rink shut for three weeks for repair work, we had to travel to other rinks and it made us realise just how affordable and how good Swindon's ice rink really is. You don't know what you've got until it's gone!
It's rare to find a facility that balances top notch equipment with such a warm, community focused atmosphere. Swindon is lucky to have the Link Centre. It's making a real difference to the next generation of local talent.
Highly recommend to any family wanting to support their young person in sport.

All the staff are always so welcoming, friendly and helpful, the link centre is a great facility to have in Swindon, there is something there for all the family! The whole family love the trampoline park, my sons loves the soft play centre and my daughter who skates multiple times a week absolutely loves the ice rink, in her words ‘The ice rink is excellent!!’ Considering the extensive of the flood three years ago and all the ongoing struggles with the electrics, the staff have done amazing at keeping the facilities open throughout. A big thank you for reopening the ice rink on schedule after the latest closure!

Amazing place
Wow, what can I say. The Link centre is amazing. My daughter learnt to swim here then went on to learn to skate last year. She absolutely loves it there and would be there daily if she could. She now attends figure skating club and has the loveliest ice skating teacher Jan. I have nothing but great things to say about all the amazing staff at the ice rink. We are so lucky to have this great facility on our doorstep.

Great all around venue
Been skating here for 10 years, been using the gym facilities for 1 year and used the fun play for the first time this year with my niece. A great all around venue with free parking, a cafe, skate shop, toilets and changing facilities. Staff always helpful and friendly too.

My children come to the link centre at least twice a week and always have a great time. The staff are helpful, easy to book online and lots of parking.
If I have ever needed help with a club the staff have always been very helpful to make sure anything that needs changing is changed.

They worked diligently to ensure the rink could reopen after a brief closure to fix the electric issues. Even though the electrics arw still being fixed we are still able to use the facilities.
