We were met by a very knowledgeable & pleasant lady who gave us a tour of the Centre & what was available - Great facilities & reasonable monthly membership...!!

Leg press in Llanishen gym is dangerous and way to pricey
I would like to tell you why I cancelled my membership it is because your leg press machine, kept stopping and once I pushed it up all the way it'd feel like it's doubling the weight. Then after 20 reps on my last rep the leg press just collapsed on me.
And now I am severely injured due to that. I have teared my hamstring, and broken all my ligaments around. Also in the gym it's all crampt up together. And only one hip abductor and it's very unsanitary. The prices are absolutely unacceptable £23 a teen and £37 for an adult which some are also £50. Whilst at gym I go to now it's more equipment and a safer environment.

Helpful reception staff
The receptionist was extremely helpful, I needed to change my membership type and gave a credit issued. I was unable to do it online because of the credit to be given to me and she had to contact the manager. Despite it being busy she dealt with me calmly and efficiently.

First time swimming class
The pool is always a good temperature.
The class was relaxed.
Only coment is that we were new to the class and didn't really have an introduction to the instructors or how the classes work?

Why I like having classes in Beter

Happy with facilities
I've recently joined the Better club as it has classes I enjoy at the times that suits me.
Reception are always helpful and the app is easy to use.
My only complaint is I have recently been charged a cancellation fee.
I appreciate why this is done and it should continue, but I would suggest a bit more leeway with earlier classes.
I had to cancel due to my daughter being unwell and having to stay off school. This wasn't clear until 7am.
Otherwise I'm happy with the facilities and service.
