Dirty and cold
I took my 18 month old swimming to the Rainbow leisure centre yesterday and a couple of weeks ago. Both times the teaching pool was cold and I was told the boiler was broken. The pool and changing rooms were very dirty. The floor was brown with grime and dirt. The whole place is looking very tired and dirty.
Myself and my daughter are feeling unwell today and I wouldn't be surprised if we have picked something up from there. We will not be returning.

We sincerely apologise for the condition of the teaching pool and changing areas. Your comments regarding cleanliness and water temperature are concerning, and we take them very seriously. We are currently addressing the boiler issue, and additional cleaning measures are being implemented to ensure our facilities meet the highest hygiene standards.

Had a joint nerf party for my 7 year old son. The party was well organised and super fun the kids had a blast. The staff we really lovely and helpful too couldn’t have asked for anymore. Highly recommend

Very good place to have birthday…
Very good place to have birthday parties. We had a catered soft play party. More than enough food for kids. Vegan and vegetarian options available. Thanks to Jonathan, who took care of everything, we had no problem at all. The facility is clean and plenty of space for kids.

I swim regularly at Rainbow and as a 80 year old woman really appreciate the kindness of the staff. I have wanted to write a review for ages because I want to praise the staff who work very hard in cleaning the pool and spa areas. It is sad when people write bad reviews as I see first hand how dedicated the staff are in maintaining a high standard of customer service and cleanliness throughout.

I had a lovely swim at Rainbow today. Some reviews are slating the spa area but I found it to be clean and tidy today. The staff were efficient and approachable and I will definitely be making Rainbow a regular place to visit.

5th birthday party - soft play
Jonathan was a fantastic host and looked after us really well. The experience was very straightforward and required minimal input from us as party parents, which was much appreciated! Communication in advance was clear and helpful as well. And, most importantly, the kids all had a great time!
The only suggestion for the company, especially on a Saturday morning, would be to reserve a space in the car park for those who have booked a party. It was a little stressful having to park in a separate car park and walk over with a box of party paraphernalia!

Very dirty, risk of Legionella disease
It is a good 2 floor gym with swimming pool , kids area and smal spa with jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Unfortunately the spa, which is the main reason why I chose this local gym, does not always work and the jacuzzi is frequently broken. It is VERY DIRTY everywhere and the spa is not clean. There is high risk of infection and LEGIONELLA disease in the SPA. You can see the mould and colonies of bacteria growing in the steam room and a milky substance growing on the walls and the sits of the steam room. All the water fountain of the gym have been broken for the last 6 months and there is no water. Staff are not around in the spa area.

Services such as drinking water not working
It's understandable that things break down and need to be fixed but 5 months without working is a bit ridiculous.
There is only ONE water tap for the gym which trickles out. The other one in the gym and one in the spa area haven't worked for 5 months.
Steam room - worked for approx 1 week in last 5 months. Not working on Sunday
Cold water bucket - not worked for 7 months

I mainly go swimming for fitness. The offered time schedule is quite restricted especially for afternoon sessions. Not to mention the water temperature is bit cool.

Overall a good experience
Overall a good experience. The place is looking a bit tired. I think there are a lot of easy wins. Cleaning on the weights where they are rusted. The water fountain leaks badly.

It’s been a year now! The men’s shower hasn’t been fixed yet! One of the showers is dead and the other is breathing its last breath … honestly WHEN ARE YOU PEOPLE GOING TO SORT THIS MESS? and the btw the men showers are always in filthy conditions. Much appreciated :)
