I’m a new member and think the Rivermead location is very good.
I’m a new member and think the facilities at Rivermead Reading are very good.
The only issue I had was relating to booking in, for some reason two of my bookings showed non attendance whilst I booked in on both occasions.
I reported this to local staff but they didn’t have any idea either.
So I’ll keep a watch on future bookings.
That said I had an enjoyable experience.

Welcoming staff, clean facilities
Staff were very welcoming and explained what I needed to do clearly. The facilities were clean and functioned appropriately. When I asked a more complicated question that staff didn’t know the answer to, they promptly found a manager who did and was able to answer my question fully.

Extremely rude Staff
New pool and extremely rude lifeguards, i guess the old ways are hard to let go.
They charge you a lot of money for nothing and then they treat you like garbage, The Manager doesn't care, complaining to the manager is like talking to a wall.
Really sad these people don't have any training in customer service.

GLL first-class facilities and services to Reading
Really helpful, knowledgeable and professional staff. Having not been to a gym or fitness class for many years, I felt nervous but really had no need to worry once I'd met the Centre staff, the Duty Manger with whom I had my induction, and the fitness instructors whose classes I've so far attended. All have been patient & so, so helpful and informative. I love the flagship modern new-build leisure centre at Rivermead-25m 8-lane competition pool with diving provision -GLL as a charitable Social Enterprise really works hard to reach those in most need and works towards reducing health inequalities.

Excellent facilities. Pool fabulous, always at a pleasant temperature. Changing rooms good, just a few with a dirty floor. Staff always very helpful.
