Really nice new centre but the organisation is pretty awful - only every 2-3 lanes max for actual swimmers whenever I show up - yesterday we were kept outside the pool shivering ! Training pool advertised but inaccessible / not available for booking . Is my local so will return - but more space for actual swimming , rather than bookings ? When ? A timetable or more quiet periods would be great (Woolwich waves)

Hello I am really disappointed with the…
Hello I am really disappointed with the new Gym in Woolwich called Wave. The gym has been degraded to a Pure Gym level. Most useful machines for workouts at the Waterfront has been left out. The Smith machine that is popular and helps people like me with a dodgy shoulder has gone, The upper chest compressor machines with a foot bar to assist in work out gone. Twice I ve been to that gym and everyone was complaining and it's a matter of time before your patrons will start finding alternatives and moving on. The SMITH and chest workout machines in the WATERFRONT are desperately needed back.

Better, a friendly fitness area with superb trainers
It is good to remain healthy and fit and Better provides just that in a friendly environment at the Waterfront Leisure Center . My trainers are superb and interactive. However, the equipments at the Cardio area and the ACs in some rooms broke down quite often. There should be a system of checking and fixing problems before members start their booked fitness classes.

Gym lockers
Something needs doing about the gym lockers where people are using them without taking the key so therefore someone who want to use it properly can not do so

Great range of equipment and facilities…
Great range of equipment and facilities available for training and working out. The functional room is one of the best around and the view over the thames just tops it off. Extremely friendly staff who always go up and above for you. Amazing community feel in the centre.

Good facilities and clean enough.
The pool had debris at the end of the lanes on the bottom.
