Great facilities, excellent equipment. Very friendly staff. Only issue I'd say is the cleanliness and maintenance of the rest rooms and showers. For the last couple of years there's been an issue... See more

You have the most unhelpful, rude staff at the reception desk. You cancel inductions for the gym without notification but still require an induction before being able to attend a gym session unless we take responsibility. Absolutely appalling and seriously wondering what the benefit of membership is.
My mum and I recently visited the leisure centre for a tour to see whether we wanted to go ahead with a membership. We were shown around by Pearl, who was absolutely lovely! She was friendly, professional and welcoming, and took the time to show us everything and provide all the information we needed. She made us feel comfortable, answered our questions and made the whole experience really positive. Thanks to Pearl, we had no hesitation signing up! A big thank you to her for making our visit so enjoyable. She’s a real credit to the team!

Oasis centre in Endell st is in need of some serious improvement. Studio 1 has no air conditioning. It is like a sauna in there.
The lockers requiring an additional 5 pounds to buy a padlock is absolutely shocking.
Staff at the counter may be reminded that people visiting the premises are not a nuisance but vital to the place staying open.
Very helpful and understanding staff. Very clean. Easy access to car park and pool. Very clean. Good atmosphere

Amazing teacher, very attentive, careful with each child, as everyone learns at their own pace.

Fantastic induction, very friendly. Would definitely recommend to somebody like myself who doesn't go to the gym often. They made me feel very comfortable.

Better app is so convenient. It is so easy to use to rejoining and cancelling membership and booking activities. I specially appreciate the staffs (especially Kentish Town centre) for assisting my entries when I am late for swimming.

My children are very happy with their teacher and they feel like they are being taught according to their level. Highly recommend the centre !

Reposting in correct leisure centre, happy with apology from Better team, thank you
Thank you for your kind reply and I apologise - this wasn't at Thamesmere - it was at Thames Leisure Centre:
Very unimpressed by Pilates class at Thame leisure centre. Extremely unwelcoming and unfriendly atmosphere. I was a few minutes late and got grief from both the instructor and an overbearing woman in the class. I know it's important to try and be on time, but sometimes things happen. There are ways of speaking to people, and this was completely unnecessary, from both women. The overbearing class member, a woman probably in her 60s, also made a teenage girl cry. Shocked.

Great family swimming session for the children. The boys loved the floats and music session. Safe and clean environment for them to have fun in.

Making the women’s gym a mixed gym when the only reason I bought my subscription is to be here as I have had bad experiences with men in gyms. So disappointed as it can be packed sometimes too and now there will be men who will most likely destroy the peace and comfort this gym brought me.
Crash course in half term. We signed up for this as my granddaughter was losing her confidence. In the week course she progressed so much. Would highly recommended as teaching was excellent and value for money.

The leisure centre is fine, the staff and facilities are good but booking anything on the website is an utter shambles. I am looking forward to all their web developers being replaced by even the worst AI tools. I'm amazed that anybody could think it was acceptable.

The venue itself is great, trampolining and soft play together is exactly what my son wanted. The party room is also fantastic. The staff were helpful on the day. However, it was quite tricky to speak to someone directly at the venue prior to the party as nobody picked up the phone. I also think it unfair that you don’t get a refund of £21 if one child cancels more than 24hrs prior to the party, that could be changed.

After a traumatic hip operation and much pain for almost 6 years I attempted a return to my much loved exercise, swimming. As apprehensive as I was about possibly hurting myself on this visit, I was warmly supported and helped by the receptionist at Boucher Road (Cathy?). She signed me up and made me more aware of the newest facilities and prices. A few more details were to be added online which were a bit of a stumbling block for a non techno person like myself. This was resolved in good time with online staff whose approach was also helpful and encouraging for my continued intention to return and keep fit. Thank you to all involved.

Over-priced and badly maintained. Showers and changing rooms are dirty. Often no hot water in the showers. Urinals leak. Sinks out of order. Potential to be great but is poor. Management don't care.
