They overcharge for a course that…

They overcharge for a course that doesn’t deliver More than 6K was taken. The coach approved a property in Hawaii, location and income plus expenses. He said it was a prime location. Only to FIND out the property didn’t perform well at all. Then Dr. Chau said the property didn’t meet the criteria. He was paid to find homes that produce wealth not put someone in debt. All my savings gone. Two weeks later one of the coaches I saw in the past with him wasn’t present for classes anymore so I reach out to find out why. He told me the truth. Chau’s companies and plans failed except this one for MTR. And had to fire the coaches. Chau said to me “I figured it was best for me to do it all myself and give the right information”. That’s a lie! Other businesses failed and he is only holding on to one. One where he is using fake students for success videos, not real results. They get paid to talk. If Chau has any heart he would returned all my money to me. He didn’t mention god in the past. Now you can see on his sites he believes in god. Be careful because that might be a trap. Not his actual belief. Learn from me so you don’t have to go through the pain. I have someone with disabilities as my dependent because our parents passed away, and was seeking help to create wealth and better future for my brother. It turned out to be the opposite with Dr Chau. Be careful who you trust. Due you homework before giving a person your hard earned money. God bless.

Not the Right Fit for Me – Sharing My Experience

I want to share my personal experience with a high-ticket Airbnb/MTR coaching program so others can do their own research before making a decision.

I paid a decent amount after a consultation because I believed I would receive specialized guidance, valuable resources, and support that would help me grow. After joining, I personally felt the program did not align with my expectations from the consultation.

The programs discussed included Airbnb and MTR coaching, and there was mention of “secret” strategies, but in my opinion there was nothing truly secret about the information. Much of it felt like basic material that can be found in inexpensive courses. My concern was not about learning fundamentals, but that the promises made about what the program would provide did not match my experience. I felt that the presentation focused more on telling people what they wanted to hear rather than giving a realistic picture of the results and effort involved. I also felt that if results did not happen, the responsibility seemed to shift entirely onto the participant.

I realized early that it was not a good fit for me and raised my concerns within a short period of time. I have not participated in the training group or substantially used the services. I also reached out multiple times to discuss cancellation and a resolution, but I have not received a response.

This is only my personal experience and others may have different experiences. My advice is to carefully review the agreement, ask detailed questions about exactly what support and deliverables are included, and make sure the program truly matches your needs before making a large financial commitment. Also, if you are asked to pay through Zelle, be careful and think twice before signing and sending payment.

Not a good fit-no refund

I met with Dr. Chau via Zoom to learn more about the mid-term rental market. I made it very clear that I already own multiple rental properties and was not looking for a co-hosting opportunity — I simply wanted coaching and guidance specific to the mid-term rental space.

After signing up for his $10,000 coaching program, I realized within minutes of reviewing the materials (“play deck”) that it was not what I was looking for. The content felt basic, and when I read through the group chat (Telegraph thread), many of his students seemed confused about fundamental questions such as co-host taxes, 1099s, and payouts — topics that should be crystal clear in a program of this cost.

I immediately requested a refund since I hadn’t attended any live calls and had only briefly opened his materials. My request was denied, and after I followed up twice more, communication stopped altogether.

I believe that if someone realizes early on that a program isn’t the right fit, especially without using or benefiting from the content, there should be a refund window. Unfortunately, my experience showed that the focus was more on keeping the payment than ensuring my success. Dr. Chau did offer for me to stay in the program, but I’m far beyond the beginner level it seems designed for.
