Great Looking Items
So I refused to purchase a chair at DFS to go along with a new corded sofa as it was £600, I found the perfect match at Big Bertha which was a black corded high back bean bag with footstool under £100. Only me in the house so it was a no brainer. Quality is exceptional, enough filling for both items, comfortable to lounge on and game with. 2 year warranty which is awesome. Not gonna lie I'm 18 stone at the moment and no problems or stress on been bag, however regardless of weight if used properly no faults will occur. Highly recommend there products. It does state however double zippers but it is a single zipper on mine with a paper clip as a fastener handle which was weird.

I ordered a small foot stool and it took me ages to get anyone to answer my email but they did eventually when it came you have to fill it yourself which is a pain and also there is no where near enough beans so it’s a good job I’ve got some spare in my loft also with something this small I thought it would be filled as I’ve got a puppy and it’s going to be very hard to keep him away from the ones that drop on the floor

Quick response, kind and problem solving attitude! I had some issues with the delivery company. I let the Big Bertha team know about my problem, they response in few hours, tried the fix the problem what the delivery company caused. They have really great customer service beyond a great product!:)

Purchased The 3 Seater Albert Sofa Bean Bag @ £350
Received bare minimum bean bag filling and considering the price you pay they should really give you extra rather than the bare minimum and having to ask for more - did get a free extra bag sent out after contacting them but still didn't last long as you need to keep adding more over time
The material is nice and being lightweight to move around easily is good but that's about it - it deflates often so it needs regular filling up with more bean bag filling @ extra cost (buying direct with them is overpriced) and it isn't actually easy to stay on it when trying to lay down - you'll struggle to stay on it and you feel like you're falling off constantly due to it deflating and the seat edge sinking to the ground and the depth of the seating area needed to be wider like most traditional sofas are (it's very narrow) you can only really sit on it but you can't lay down - I am 5ft 11inches and weigh circa 145lb
Overall I'd say it's okay, not amazing considering the price they want for it - was expecting better!

good quality but a pain to fill, but worth it
I purchased a high back and it while doesn't look as perfect as the website, it is good. Maybe could do with a tiny bit more filling
Oh and speaking of filling, you have to fill it yourself which is a real pain. Don't rush in as its important to follow the instructions i.e. filling the box, then transfer to the cover. Its not an easy process and that combined with the fact the beads have static charge will ensure you will lose at least 2 hours of your life trying to pick up the carnage. I ensured there was virtually zero loss of beads. I would recommend sterilizing your vacuum and use that to pick up all the beads that will stick to everything and refuse to go into the cover.
I gave 4 stars as the product is of high quality, lower cost and is fire retardant. I would give more stars if it was more clear beforehand that it has to be manually filled also advised to look at the instructions first.
Overall it is a great product

bought this for our granddaughter, thought it would come already to go. Big mistake! it arrived boxed i opened the box to find a plastic bag of polystyrene balls and the cover, if id have known i had to fill it myself i wouldnt have bought it.

One star is too much
I would not send such an awful item to my worse enemy. The process of putting the filling in was downright painful. If I had known you have to assemble it myself, I would have never bought it- what a nightmare. And the result is more than disappointing. I bought an adult size and it's too small for my 15 year old son. What a scam- the website seems to be intentionally misleading with sizing and expectations. Shame on them, I just lost 150.-! Very upset with myself for having been so mislead. I'll be telling everybody I know to avoid this company.

t it takes a life time for them to deliver the items, i have only ordered 2 things from them the 1st is a floor cushion and the other is a back support cushion, this company has the cheek to charge you £5,00 for delivery and it takes 2-3 days to get the item to even ship and then it can take a further 7 days for delivery and at a £5,00 price tag JUST FOR THE SHIPPING you would think you would get ur item within a day or 2 on every other website you can buy DPD shipping for around £5,00 so what i would love to know is what am i getting for my £5,00 delivery charge? because it sure as shoot isn't 24 or 48hr tracked ordered on the 31st and its now the 6th what is taking so long ill never buy anything from you again UPDATE!!! upon receiving my item
"High Back Support Cuddle Cushion - Cord Mink" in the website advertisement the advert says "filled with beans" however once i got the item i found that it was almost impossible to open the pillow case "it had a zip" but the zip had no pully on it so you could not open the zip naturally as if it was a coat or other item... so i had to add my own pully "this did 0 damage to the item" but i finally got the pillow case unzipped and upon unzipping the pillow case i find that there are NO BEANS from this bean bag retailer that advertises a pillow to be and i quote "FULL OF BEANS" instead the item has some generic hollow fiber filling you can buy from amazon for like £10.00 UPDATE 2 thursday 13th june 2024 upon complaining to the company about the false advertising of the "filled with beans" cushion that was not filled with beans they have changed the listing of the item in an attempt to avoid false advertisement... i do have pictures of the before and after as proof

Bean Bag Sofa
Purchased a bean bag sofa and footstool. They aren't the easiest to fill but not as bad as soon people describe. Best to do it in the kitchen or an enclosed room so you can easily hoover any spills. You can clip the filling such to a cupboard door and this makes it fairly easy to fill. There wasn't quite enough balls so I was going to order some more but customer service were very helpful and send me some additional ones for free. For the prices I think these are good value

Stressful negative experience
Very stressful shopping experience. I returned cushions with return label address that came with the order. Despite paying for tracking no such address could be located by P.O delivery. Numerous e-mails later Katie gave me another address that I had never seen before Moral of story is I lost £100 + £28 postage by scam returns address and now have the items returned to me a month later and now they say it's too late to return being over a month from original purchase
Would give nil stars if I had the option
The cushions were good quality it's just I ordered wrong sizing by mistake so beware if you need to return items
Since writing review my money was reurned to my bank account and to answer BB question about returns address I was sent an e-mail from them with attached return label which I printed out and put on parcel which just so happened to be a wrong address!
Mistakes happen so I would advise BB to check back to my previous e-mails and check returns label to avoid this happening again to other customers
I still have e-mail if their interested!

Customer service was a breath of fresh air
Although we decided not to keep the items we originally ordered (through no fault in the item or company, they just didn’t suit the room we wanted them for) the communication throughout the return & refund process was honestly a breath of fresh air. I always had a response to my queries within 24 hours. They arranged a collection service from my home and I was refunded within 7 days.
My main dealings were with Katie, Beth & Hannah.
Would absolutely deal with this company again.

What a terrible mess this makes. I can’t believe we had to put it together on our own. We didn’t receive any instructions either, as I’ve read other reviews that mention instructions.
I’m not going to be buying one of these again, and don’t recommend them to anyone just because of the hassle factor.

What a terrible purchase
What a terrible purchase. My 12 year old son spent £375 for the three seater sofa. Not only did we have to fill it ourselves in one of the worst ever designed products I have come across, there are not enough of the balls to fill it and my son who is short for a 12 year old cannot even fit on it. He feels horribly scammed.
