Completely disorganized. I didn't do even half of the things I had to do and I often had to take public transport because no bus came. The buses are often all concentrated in one point and the flow... See more

If I could give no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would! London big bus you are a disgrace! Don’t waste your money.. they don’t tell you what stop your at, don’t tell you anything about what your driving past, towards etc.. change routes, and miss stops. Then when you complain they tell you to download the app and follow the bus in it! Sorry I should not have to watch my phone when I’m trying to look around and take photos! The route is way too large and needs to be broken down into possibly 2/3 separate runs so it doesn’t take over 3 hours (on a good day, which didn’t happen with us) to get around! The people at stood need to be better educated on their surroundinb and inform customers of marathons, and extra busy roads and delays during the recorded message. (Well if they played one)

Big Bus London no customer service

Took big bus in London. We were parked while staff chatted and did a driver change for over half and hour, finally got going to only have another 10 minute discussion between driver and staff at Marble arch stop. I contacted BB which got a half baked apology they offered free tickets but no compensation, I had booked 2 days, had poor experience so asked for 50% refund. Not a hope they are not interested in customer service only there own bottom line.

Clear, Informative Tour Covering Key London Landmarks

I took the Blue Route on the London hop-on hop-off bus and found the service efficient and well-structured. The route covered key historical landmarks and notable boroughs, supported by a clear audio guide with relevant information on each area. The transport was comfortable, and James at Bridge Street, Westminster Station, provided precise route advice that helped optimise my itinerary.

Not very informative. Use a different company.

I do an open top bus tour in every city I visit. This was by far the worst. Far more background music than information or facts given. Lots of landmarks past without any commentary at all. It was awful. We got fed up and jumped off to get the tube instead. Kids had had enough and so had we. What was said was repetitive and in a few instances incorrect with the commentary clearly meant for the bus running in the opposite direction. Use one of the other companies. City sight seeing are generally much better in my experience. Don’t waste your time with this one.

Big Bus - London. Not Recommended!

The service today was extreme unpleasant. The man insisted there was a specific blue line coming in 8 minutes going to the London bridge, and this is at 6:30pm. There were 3 blues line came by at the Big Ben, and he said those were not it. My 8 year old son ended up waited for an hour, and pretty much all the blue lines and red just about ended their service and he was about to left us hanging and stranded at the Big Ben as the evening getting. I would not recommend anyone to experience with this kind of service and especially such service from Big Bus.

Don't use this company!

Don't use this company! We were ripped off by one of the salesmen at Baker Street in London. We were quoted £68 for two tickets and were charged £100 when we checked our credit card. Commentary was poor and we waited a long for buses. What an expensive disappointment. We definitely can't recommend them.

The buses don’t come

The buses don’t come. At least 2 stops weren’t in service (21 &22) but nobody thought about signalling it. Finally you’ve got a bus, and it stops 15 minutes to “change driver”.
How can a company be so poorly organised and treat their customers like cattle?
Avoid!

Disappointing

Hardly any blue route buses for this company. Other companies had multiple buses for this route passing. Go with Golden Tours, Tootbus or Citysightseeing. When a blue route bus finally came, we didn’t dare get off because we had no idea how long we would have to wait for another. It would have been ok if the ticket was inexpensive, but this bus costs a lot. It says there is a bus every 15-20 min but we waited 40 minutes.

I booked two days trip with Green Bus…

I booked two days trip with Green Bus London. The staff were caring and guided us with accurate answers. In one of the buses there was a live tour guide name Mike who passionately described the ongoing sightseeings and interacted with guests.
Thank you Mike and Green Bus Tour drivers and staff.

Very very disappointed.......

I was having a wonderful time enjoying my 24 hour ticket touring London for the 1st time and every was going on very well from the time l hopped on it, then did the Thames river crew then back on again hoping to do as much sight seeing as possible and my plan was to stay on the bus through out this time so that next time l can hop off n hop on on the places of interest from the information l would get from this initial tour. Everything went on very well from the drivers who were very jolly to the stops which were easy to follow then from nowhere before we got to Victoria station we were moved to a different bus going the same way only to find out the speaker system wasn't working and so we couldn't use our headphones we immediately moved to another which then got us back on track until we were 3 stops away from the last stop which was going to be 43 if l remember very were told the driver had got instructions the tour was over and should drop us all😳😳😳just like that we were told this was the last bus of they day! There were about 15 of is inc children we then started to find our way back to are different destinations which wasn't easy like for me as l don't know the London bus system that well. It also affected my plans for that evening setting me back about an hour to a pre arranged supper with my sister and her friends so in the end l sadly missed that and then had to make another plan for supper........lm still buffled as to why we were dropped off way before 7pm just after 6pm and yet l was told tours end then??? The following day l really couldn't do much as l had to arrange with my sister for breakfast instead and my ticket was to expire at midday........l felt robbed for a total amout of 45pounds should have really got a lot more😭😭😭

Be careful! it’s scam

Be careful - it’s almost scam.
we had a person who sold us the tickets. He was really getting on our nerves and made wrong promises. We wanted to take a different company, he told us we should stick with him and we will give us a discount, just to want more five minutes later.

The buses are never coming and when they come, they are crowded as hell.

DONT TAKE THIS BUS COMPANY!!!

It is really unnecessary

It is really unnecessary. None of the headphones are working … It has very long stops. You have to wait at the bus. You can not understand anything. I am not advice. May be better company can choose but I do not know which one is better …

Disabled review

My experience with Big Bus Tours as a physically disabled individual using a wheelchair and crutches.

Initially, there was a problem with receiving the promised free carer ticket, despite prior confirmation from the company. The ticket seller at the bus stand refused to honor this but was polite and seemed unaware of the policy. After contacting the company, they apologized and reimbursed the carer ticket, handling the situation well.

Key points:

Tip: Confirm free carer tickets via the company’s chatbot and follow their instructions for online booking.

Tour experience: The tour itself was highly enjoyable, informative, and worth the cost.

Recommendations:

1. Big Bus should revise its policy to allow compact mobility scooters similar in size to prams. A good example is Southwest Rail has issued my a pass for my specific mobility scooter.

2. Staff should be trained to lower ramps for wheelchair users, as the user’s carers had to lift the wheelchair manually.
