Big Fish

Big Fish - Worst customer services EVER. After two months of trying to get a credit card charge from DEC AND Jan on a CANCELLED amount, I finally had to cancel the credit card.

I've been a member of BigFishgames…

I've been a member of BigFishgames since 2007. For the past year I've seriously been thinking about cancelling my membership. Basically they no longer respond to your inquiries and you can't speak to anyone. I've never had an issue with billing. The monthly charge of 6.99 has never changed. If you sign up for a "free trial" of ANYTHING and you give a company your billing information you are agreeing to their terms of purchase. We'll see how things go with my last inquiry. I'll update with their response.

Stay away

Stay away. What they will not tell you is that they will charge you even after you cancel your membership. And there is no such thing as canceling your membership. It is not free. It will start off low and then it will go up a dollar every single year. They fraudulently charged me for 2 1/2 years before I got it resolved. And somehow big fish games was unreachable.

Membership that I didn't agree to

Once I bought a game from their website and as I had a promo code I didn't have to pay anything. After 2 months I realised that they have signed me in for the membership without my knowledge nor authorisation and they been charging me monthly £5.39.

I have been trying to cancel Big Fish…

I have been trying to cancel Big Fish Game Club for several months. I never ordered the Game Club but am being charged $7.55 a month. This also happened to me a few years ago. I will never recommend Big Fish to anyone. How do I get rid of them? I don't want to be paying for their game forever when I never ordered in the first place. Can you help?

TERRIBLE CUSTPMER SERVICE!

The only excuse for them is to change your password. After a while you don't know what password you used to purchase a game. I have four games (paid for) that I can not redownload. The Zen desk gives you absolutely no help. The parent company could care less. Don't bother trying to contact them. They won't answer.

I have the same problem as Jennifer,I…

I have the same problem as Jennifer,I cannot activate the games I bought one week ago. I also got a free game, and according to their website they have a delay in responding to their customers. I used to play a couple of years ago and everything was ok then with a very helpful support, so I’m a new customer now and I really hope we’ll get the help we need as I love to play. Regards from Sweden/Helena

I have been a member of Big Fish games…

I have been a member of Big Fish games for almost 8 years now. I wasn't seeing very many negative reviews of games on their website, so I decided to conduct a little experiment. I gave a negative review of a game that had no reviews yet. I had to be one of the first to review this product, the day before it was released to the general public. Instead of posting my review, Big Fish posted a very positive review and still has not posted my negative review. I used to rely on those reviews to decide whether or not to buy a game. Obviously not going to do that anymore, if they are too scared of more honest reviews and only want glowing ones.

This company is terrible!

This company is terrible!! I have purchased several games from them and a lot of them won't activate. Now none of my games will install or activate and I cannot play any games that I purchased. I have contacted BigFish Games several times and all I get is a automatic response offering me a free game. What good is a free game if I cannot get it to install. They will not answer with any solutions of trouble shooting. All my stuff is up to date and I think it is absolutely disgusting that they will continue to take peoples money when the games will not work and offer no help at all to fix the problem. Worst gaming company ever.

felt scammed

bought some games on discount (the only silver lining in this situation) but they keep on crashing on my windows 10. to add to this, apparently i'm a "game club" member now and despite me cancelling it on the day i accidentally checked it out in my cart (which is like 3 weeks ago), the cancellation is still "pending". to top it off, when i sent an email to their customer service, their answer didn't even solve the problem.. honestly this is just traumatising

Duped

Duped! I know I should have read the emails more closely but I thought I had bought a single game. Now they are billing me monthly. What a terrible company but then it's Google, so what can you expect. I hate these underhand and deceitful tactics, and Google.

Second review

Second review, and Big Fish Games continue to disappoint. They never read emails. They dismiss every problem with 'coupons', which do not work, or have already expired by the time they are sent. The company has no respect for customers.

LAMO SERVICE AND NO RETURNED EMAILS

We had a game start to stutter and downloaded a new copy. It stuttered also. Cust service said OK try these things but we'll give you a free download coupon....coupon was expired.
After a couple of snippy exchanges with them, they wont respond...super cheesy business practices. Wont be doing business with Stinkyfishgames.com any longer....

For years they have been charging me…

For years they have been charging me the 6.99 a month for my membership and a couple months ago they started charging me 7.41. why did they raise the price when they advertise it as only 6.99 a month. I'm cancelling my membership because I just don't like the game's anymore.

Not a Big Fish fan anymore

I got a new computer last November. The games on my The list of games was very incomplete and most even showed a Play Now and Buy Now. Someone suggested uninstalling the games and re-installing. I thought I was doing the right thing, but, now some of the games are just gone and the rest I have to repurchase. I have 4 out of 30+ games to play. Two months ago, I tried to buy another game and was told my password wasn't correct. I tried changing it but wasn't successful. I asked them to PLEASE call me because I am elderly. Then I got an e-mail last week about not using my rewards. I used that e-mail to contact them again. They sent me a thing to reset my password. All I want are my games back without having to buy them. Very poor Customer service. Also, going through 1000's of game titles to find the ones I paid for is not going to be fun. Are there other games companies?

BEWARE...I had about 46 credits…

BEWARE...I had about 46 credits cancelled as I did not wish to keep paying the membership every month. Especially during COVID when times have been tough anyway. I figured I had enough game credits to last a while so put my membership on hold. However BigFishGames want to continue to take money every month to keep the games credits I had not yet used, active. Credits I've already paid for that is. I placed the membership on hold for a few months only to have my game credits that I had not yet redeemed, cancelled on me. That is about $460US at $9.99 a credit. AU conversion much greater.
Choose another game supplier that allows memberships to be placed on hold and still keep any purchases you have made.
I have screen shots of my cancelled credits if you need proof.
Theirs games are all variations of the same thing, hence I had accumulated so many credits. The actual variety is very limited but ok for the very young that don't need to relearn a new game every time.
All the best to everyone in these time.
Stay safe.
